Can A Trauma Surgeon Or Doctor Act As A Paramedic? Hey! I am 15 and looking into careers in the future. I’m looking to become a Trauma surgeon and study for 5 years then 2 years training and finally specialising in Trauma. My question is that if you are a trauma surgeon, are you able to take the job of a paramedic? For example be able to use your emergency skills outside the hospital and go in the ambulance to help people. Do your qualifications allow you to be able to do that? I want to know because I like the idea of a paramedic where they travel to the patient and quickly save them but also want to do serious surgery in the hospital.

How Often Can You Submit An Application To College? I didn’t score well on the science portion of ACT (everything else was above average), and I want to go into computer science. I want to retake ACT, but I want to at least give the application a shot. If I get declined, can I re-take ACT and re-send application?

Ex Boyfriend Problems? I know this sounds like every other question but it’s different:
So from the start of the relationship I wasn’t exactly 100% which is a bad thing and I told him this
He never was nice to me, when he was he’d add humour which didn’t make me feel great
I’m very mature for my age and unfortunately since he’s 2 years old than me, he’s not as he acts like an 8 year old
Now I’m not the perfect amazing one but I’m not happy i’m supposed to leave correct and deal with my problems myself and with family and friends
However he wanted to get back at me so on my twitter account he looked my followers and said inappropriate private things such as handing out pictures of me (in an inappropriate way); and just recently one of my associates questioned this
Since twitter cant make a blocked person not view your profile at all (so he doesn’t exactly see my followers) how do I prevent this and any more insane acts? Thanks

My Mum Isn’t Supportive Of The Fact I’m Pregnant? I’ve just told my mum that I’m pregnant, about an hour ago. she flipped out swearing, calling me stupid.

She’s just come into my room and said to me “I’ve booked tomorrow off work so we can have a conversation about what you’re going to do. if you have an idea of having a little house, with mummy and daddy and a little baby. it doesn’t always plan out like that, it’s hard work.”

Then she bought up my ex – I was with him for 22 months, we broke up in may. in june i started to meet up with a new guy and we got together in august. we are serious about each other and about making it work but my mam said

“And i don’t think you even love this new guy, that’s the annoying thing. I think he was just the closest thing to your ex that was around”

which isn’t true. i’ve cut my ties with my ex. how can i get my mam to see that i’m serious about my new boyfriend and be happy for us?

oh btw, I gave her a bib that says “i love my grandma” which i thought would make the whole process a lot cuter, but she’s acting like she hates me :'(
Yeah I live with my mam but I plan on moving out into private rented accommodation with my boyfriend, I have my own job as does my boyfriend

My Husband Has Been Abusing Me For Many Years. Is It Possible To Move Out Of State To Be With My Family? I moved across the country to be with him 15 years ago. I left my family and friends behind to start a life with him. Towards the end of the first year, he began getting physical with me. He’d act devastated afterward and tell me how much he loved me and hated himself. Then he’d just do it again. At one point, he put me in the hospital with a fractured cheekbone. I’m embarrassed and dehumanized for staying, but he convinced me he’d change. He quit hurting me for a few years, and I started thinking he’d just had some growing up to do.

We now have a six-year-old, and he’s started hitting me again. He was a lawyer but was suspended from the bar association a year ago for misappropriation of funds. He sleeps most of the day and when he wakes up in the late afternoon, he’s like a crazy monster, shouting, slamming things, breaking things, etc. If I don’t answer fast enough, he raises his hand back like he’s going to punch me in the face and usually stops short of doing it and laughs. Sometimes he goes all the way and I fall down the stairs or walk around with a black eye or bruises elsewhere from being punched, kicked, slammed, etc. We have no money, and sometimes we have no food or gas to go to the grocery store. We’re 7 months late on rent, and every time I earn a little money (ebay, garage sales, odd jobs) he takes it and says he spent it on bills. He’s started screaming at me to find a job, but I can’t afford daycare to even interview and he’s not reliable enough to be at the bus stop. His parents are up here and they know he’s abusive, but their solution is that we all move in with them. They’ve enabled this behavior all of his life. They also have started telling me that if I start working first, he’ll be motivated to get a job too. If I am able to get a job, he’ll simply take my paycheck from me and I’ll never see it the way he does now. I’ve been out of the workforce for about 6 years, because he started his own firm and insisted I be a homemaker. I don’t even know if I have any skill anyone would pay me for. I’ve been called every name in the book and I just shake all day and feel helpless to do anything. I’m terrified of this man, and my only chance of surviving this is to get back home where I have a strong support system. He says he’ll kill me before I ever leave him. I want go home where everyone is so loving, and my daughter can get out of this crazy house where there’s chaos and fighting and sloth and misery. He says no judge would ever allow me to take our daughter to my home state. Please help. I’m beyond rational thought and need serious guidance.
