Do You Think Mr. Villehuchet Who Lost 1.5 Million Euros In Bernard Madoff Ponzi Scheme Deserves To Go To? Heaven or hell for committing suicide (after he found out about his lost money)

Since he unfortunately lost his entire savings. He was overwhelmed and depressed, according to people who had spoken to him.

And people who are overwhelmed and depressed can’t be judged guilty for something that was beyond their control.

That’s a very tough one, it might have been greed that got him with promises of even more money but Bernard Madoff was one smooth operator, he did it to many with the promise of more, a bit of stupidity shouldn’t have led him to suicide but i think he might scrape into Heaven 🙂

Question About The Madoff Case? After the SEC cleared Bernard Madoff in its 2006 investigation, Harry Markopolos took his evidence to The Wall Street Journal, which did not publish it. What reasons can you think of as to why?

    • Curator says:

Having your information published instead of going to law enforcement officials with it can leave you open to libel laws Remember, this “evidence” was after Madoff was cleared by the SEC.

Question On The Bernard Madoff Case? 1.After the SEC cleared Bernard Madoff in its 2006 investigation, Harry Markopolos took his evidence to The Wall Street Journal, which did not publish it. What reasons can you think of as to why?

2.Starting in 2001, whistleblower Harry Markopolos alerted the SEC three times to the likelihood that Bernard Madoff was running a Ponzi scheme. Why do you think the SEC didn’t act on this information until 2006?

    • Curator says:

I think the problem that the SEC and law enforcement has is that they don’t pay enough to attract people smart enough to catch crooked financial engineers… The people who go to Harvard or Berkeley Business schools, or the like, are so much smarter than the regulators/cops that they don’t really stand a chance. I don’t mean to be too insulting to law enforcement, but seriously how many cops have graduate level engineering degrees as opposed to GED’s?

As to the specifics of Madoff, i think that besides not being smart enough to catch him they just simply didn’t want to look at someone who had his image.
