(checked on different websites) It says it’ll windy which is okay but im also bringing my 3 year old son. Is this too cold for him? (driving there and back)

It will be a bit on the chilly side, but so long as you two dress for the weather, the both of you will be fine

How Can I Surprise My Boyfriend ? Im 15 and he’s 17. we’ve been dating for a year an almost 6 months. we go out all the time and hes always buying me stuff. just yesterday we went to the bronx zoo and dinner. ive never really done something for him like he’s done for me. i live in the tri state area. i want to surprise him an do something fun, but not too costly. hes always complaining that hes spending too much money when we go out sometimes, and i dont have that much money. i just wanna make it up to him, but its really hard to surprise him. hes LOVES baseball, we’ve been to countless yankee games, he loves hockey (rangers), and i really dont know what else. every time we do something its usually something i want to do. i have no idea how to go about this. i was thinking of having him pick me up and having directions and stuff and go to some place fun that he’ll love. help ? i dont want anything like ‘ oh you should go bowling’ or anything. we do that from time to time. i want something exciting and he’ll really be into.

Going To Visit NYC For 3-5 Days…? Im trying to stick to a pretty extreme budget.. i figure ill stay at a hostel for around $30 a night what are some cheap entertainment options available.

I definitely plan on going to the bronx zoo and the museum of natural history. any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

I personally wouldn’t go to the Bronx Zoo if I were only here for a few days. You’ll end up spending half a day there plus travel time. There are plenty of free things to do to stretch your budget. You don’t say what time of year you’re visiting, but you’ll have more free options in the summer. Free things to consider (year round)… Ride the Staten Island Ferry, visit some of the other lesser known museums (General Grant National Museum, Castle Clinton, Hispanic Society, etc.), Central Park, the Socrates Sculpture Park, Bryant Park. You can find a whole bunch here: http://www.nyctouristcenter.com/free_things_to_do_in_new_york_city.htm

A decent hostel would be a few bucks more ($35-$40/night).

Which College Should I Go To? It’s either Texas A&M or Manhattan college for veterinarian medicine.

Both have their pros and cons. Manhattan college has the bronx zoo, while Texas A&M has a good vet school.

    SO WHICH?
I’m an undergrad. Oh and ranking-wise the best is cornell ;)!

Well I see from what you said, you been looking into this for a minute. I always say pick an accredited school that is not going have you owning the government after you get out. Those student loans are no joke. After that 6 months grace period, they come after your ass and it is just not kool to have a debt over your head right after you finish schooling. I heard Manhattan College is a good school. I don’t know if it is good for veterinarian medicine, but for you I would make sure that it is accredited in the field and I would look into how many of the students actually got accepted to veterinary school. If the numbers are high go, if not don’t go. A lot of people don’t know this but getting into veterinary school is harder than getting into medical school. So you definitely don’t want to be wasting your time going to a school and it doesn’t help you to get closer to your goal.
