  • What Type Of Music Do You Listen To? I’ve recently become interested in music genres for no apparent reason, so I was wondering what genre you generally listen to? I was kind of surprised to find out what I listen to was classified as. Mostly it’s alternative rock and punk. My favorite bands are things like Bastille, Daughtry, Fall Out Boy, Hedley, Marianas Trench, OneRepublic, Simple Plan, Walking Off the Earth, etc…

So, what is your favorite type of music?

BQ: does that genre sound scary/violent? Some of the things I like sounded kind of scary to me. Like Hardcore Punk, Grime or Post-Grunge. *shudder*

    • Curator says:

I'm pretty much all over the place.
All Time Low, John Mayer, One Direction, Nirvana, Green Day, FOB, Miley Cyrus, Kenny Chesney, Pierce the Veil, Pink Floyd, 5SOS, Sleeping With Sirens, The Blues Brothers, Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift, Paramore, Sheryl Crow, Pearl Jam, Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance, Bruce Springsteen, Drake occasionally, Emblem3, Jason Mraz, The Script, Maroon 5, Plain White Tee's, The Summer Set, Patent Pending, SmashMouth, The Beatles, Blink 182, The Offspring, Stone Temple Pilots, Imagine Dragons, fun., and Thee Aquainted.

I don't think I have a favorite, but I really got hooked on good guitar songs because I'm learning how to play, and it makes me appreciate the music a bit more because I realize how hard a simple sounding riff can be.

BQ: I have some grunge, post hardcore, and punk up there, and post hardcore definitely freaked me out bc of the name.
