Bryce Harper might not be ready for Major League Baseball, but dont bet on it

Tue, 01 May 2012 20:27:59 -0700 When Willie Mays hit the big leagues at 19, he couldnt get the little kid out of himself, didnt want to anyway and used to play stickball on the New York streets. Did I Win This Trade? I got Longoria, Heyward and Gio Gon and gave up Ortiz, Bryce Harper and Lance Lynn…I know Longoria is out till probly July but hel help me later on in the season.

Are The Washington Nationals Making A Mistake Rushing Bryce Harper So Fast? He was struggling against Double-A pitching when they jumped him up to Triple-A where he was also struggling and then the Majors so quickly. They should have let him adjust to each level before promoting him. I think they might ruin him by rushing him so quickly, he might not be able to achieve his full potential, but instead bounce between Triple-A and MLB back and forth.
I think the conservative approach with talent of this importance should have been slow and steady.
I was going to mention Travis Snider, he was called up at 20 pre-maturely.
