From Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Bernard King And Richie Guerin To Have Been Scored (60) Points The First In Knicks/NBA/Madison Square Garden Record To Scored (60) Points Or More And Before Carmelo Anthony Scored (62) Points In A Win Against The Charlotte Bobcats My Question Is What Are The Major NBA/New York Knicks Scoring Records To Have Played With (60) Points Or More Before ”Melo” Scoring (62) Points And Why?

NBA Small Forward Era Article (please Read!!!?)? I’m just a 15 year old that has a dream to be a columnist.
P.s my knowledge of larry bird comes from online research due to my young age so if you see any flaws don’t blame me, blame my mom for not having me earlier lol also if you see any flaws let me know .. Anything that can improve my writing. Compliments are recommended
    ARTICLE :
Is the small forward era ending? Or just beginning? We could all agree that the last ten years, the nba has been starting to see an increase in sf productivity. That all started with the 2003 draft. Before the 2003 draft, we could argue that the nba has never seen a possible greatest player of all time that respectively played the small forward position. Sure many will say larry bird but, its hard to separate him individually when he had such a great supporting cast. If both lebron and melo retired today, no doubt people will rank them over bird, now with that saying, Was the small forward position “reborn” thanks mainly to lebron james and carmelo anthony? the two greatest small forwards in nba history. But with anthony and james in their last years in their prime, is it an end in the small forward position? Or would paul George, leonard, jabari parker, andrew wiggins,and/or giannis antekumnmpo carry the small forward legacy?

  • Is Carmelo Anthony Ever Going To Get The Respect He Deserves From The Media And Fans Alike? I mean, similar to Kobe, it seems fans like to trash Melo for his perceived shortcomings without looking at the big picture. Oh, Melo doesn’t make his team mates better? Well he is a scoring small forward. His job doesn’t entail running the point. He draws double teams and the focus away from other players. That is how he helps his team. Why can’t people just accept the fact that Melo is a superstar who need help(a well constructed team around him) to win a title like every other great player, a superstar whose most compatible player was an aging Chauncey Billups. A superstar who has spent the majority of his career playing with one of the most erratic shooting guards of all time in Jr. Smith. If Melo has a good defensive oriented frontcourt with big men who can protect the rim, a PG who can actually fullfill his role in a standard offense, role players who can space the floor and score effectively, his teams would be so much better. Why all the hate on Melo? Why can’t people see this?
@Neil, last year, the Knicks were 18-6 in the months of November and December in the 24 games Melo played and he averaged 20.7 shots per game in those months. Novak averaged about 6 shots a game in those months. In the 6 games Melo missed those 2 months, the Knicks were only 3-3. They were successful because they had more long range shooters around Melo making threes while Melo was doing his thing. He was still getting his shots up.
@Eddie, What Lebron and AI did to their teams in the weak East is irrelevant. Those teams wouldn’t have been in the finals if they were out West. In fact I think its fair to question whether Lebron’s 07 Cavs would even have gotten out of the first round in the West that year. Melo was playing in the tougher conference and he still took his team to the WCF where his team lost in a good 6 game series simply because Kobe found a another gear for his team.
@Neil, what good players is he playing with? None of the players on the Knicks current roster would be a good #2 option on a title contender. They are all either too inconsistent or simply not good enough.
