Can I See This Movie? So I just bought Catching Fire tickets for myself for this Friday. I am going to see it with a couple of friends and we are all 13. The problem is we all bought a child’s ticket,s not knowing the age limit is 12 years old, so I don’t know if we will be able to get in or not. Would it be possible to just pay the extra $1 or 2 and convert them to adult tickets when we get there?

Tell Me If This Is A Fun Read Or Not? (supernatural)? I’ve had lots of fun writing this novel and I want readers to have fun reading. It’s about a boy who’s too scared to dump his supernatural girlfriend. I want to know if this is a fun read so far or is it boring to you, if it’s boring becasue it’s not your taste then that’s good to know, too. I want to make it fun b4 I start editing. Taisely is pronounced similar to Paisley. (tays-lee)

It happened to me again two seconds ago. Taisely’s face turned bright red and she huffed a few nasty words at me, squared her shoulders, and jabbed her hand forward. White lightening shot out of her fingers at me. I ducked just in time; the bolt exploded into the tree behind me leaving a burnt smell entwined in the air. Dark gray smoke poured from the bark right before my eyes. Small flecks of orange light lit up inside the blackening tree bark like someone had fired up a cigarette in the corner of a dark room.

“Are you crazy!” I yelled without turning around.

The orange dots now embedded in the tree grew bigger and the smoke that poured/billowed into the air turned darker every second. After a few minutes, it would turn black. The burning stench caught in my lungs and I hacked out a cough. I leaned my face into the light smoky stream and blinked rapidly as my eyes stung. I spat at the bark several times. The orange dots continued to burn and grow. Just as I imagined, the smoke changed to ash gray. Next it’d be black and the whole tree would be up in flames. The last time Taisely did this, a whole barn burned down. Not just any barn. My grandfather’s barn! I got blamed. Well, more because I took the blame for Taisely in order to save our relationship.

Trying to spit out the impending fire was like trying to put out an inferno with a cup of water. I spun around to run and bumped chest first into Taisely who’s glassy eyes stared at me. Though, I swear she didn’t even see me. Her eyes peered through me. To my soul, I’d guess.

“You need anger management,” I sputtered. Spit flew out of my mouth and into her hair, and I prayed with my eyes that she didn’t notice.

She flicked her neck and kept her narrowed eyes on me. Her mouth twisted like she couldn’t stand the sight of me.

I held up my palms in a defensive position and leaned my body forward bent my knees, ready to sprint if she didn’t listen. “I-I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t mean that. You’re not crazy. And that girl. I really did not look at her like that. I swear!” I shook my head for added affect, though I meant every word I’d originally said. “You’re the only one for me.” I tried a sympathetic smile to see if that would work.

Her lips curved up, capping off an I thought so expression.

I dropped to my knees which sunk into the muddy ground and bowed my head on her shiny new red pumps. The same shoes I bought her after the last time she shot a lightning bolt at me. I kissed the tip of her shoes like I did after the last two lightening “accidents.”

This time was going to be the last. I’d told myself this after the first time it happened, but after calling my girl a retard for throwing her glass of water into another girls face, I thought I deserved it. But, wait, I didn’t even like that other girl! I swear! We were talking game. No, not that kind of game. Sports! For god’s sake we were talking sports! Do you know how hard it is to find a girl friend (two words, not one) who likes sports and not pink ragtops and cute Chanel purses? And Taisely got angry and heaved her glass of water in the girl’s face. The girl’s boyfriend turned around with his chest puffed out ready to box me. I grabbed Taisely’s arm and high tailed it out of the arcade. I called her crazy and stupid and psycho. You’d think I’d called her fat or a pig or said she put on more weight than a cow that needed milking.

The lightning bolt hit the car I was standing in front of. MY CAR!

    That was the first time.

This was going to be the last.

I lifted my face off Her Highness’s shoes and pulled myself up off my knees. Coldness gripped my/ripped through my knees from the mud that clung to my pant legs.

I tried to keep the disgust off my face when we locked eyes. White lines pulsed across her face whenever she got angry. Very ugly. I never got the courage to mention it, especially after the psycho comment.

The burning bark smell stifled the air around our picnic blanket. I turned to see small flecks of flame licking the trunk of the tree, swiftly working its way to the branches and leaves, growing in size as it rose. My neck got real hot, so I grabbed Taisely’s hand and we ran toward Story Avenue, between the pillars, and out the front of Pracy Park. I glanced back when we were a block away. An orange-yellow glow lit the sky above the park where we had picnicked, and I hoped it wouldn’t spread to the surrounding trees. I pulled out my phone and dialed 9-1…Taisley wrenched it from my hand
