I Need Help With Obamacare? I do not work but go to school (Community college) in California and want to apply for Obama care but I can not pay for it since I do not earn an income. I live in a household of four (including myself) where three work and are covered with work health insurance. Does anyone know how I can apply without the heavy charges for myself or know of any other insurances I can apply for that are cheap or free. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

What Brand Of Shampoo Would You Recommend For Dry Thick Hair? Conditioner Too? My hair has always been thick and dry I know why it’s thick (genetics) and the dryness (my shampoo) what shampoo and conditioner doesn’t cause that

    • Curator says:

First of all: heat & chemicals = hair’s worst enemies.
I’ve used Garnier for 13 years. No conditioner. My hair is also thick, and it’s down to my knees. What product I used, may not be good for you. There are tons more of brands out there.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a trillion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals – hair’s worst enemies. • Hair products may claim one or more benefits, but usually they do not have scientific base.

“No hair product can change the hair’s biology,” says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L’Oreal USA. “Products that ‘repair’ them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it’s still broke,” says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. “Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period.”
Example 1: “Hello, my hair is bleached and I’ve colored it alot in the past.
I haven’t retouched my bleached hair in a month or two and my hair is Constantly breaking off!!! I’m losing SOOO much hair!!! Especially in the middle of my hairline
Ive been using Moroccan oil conditioner, olive oil masks and my hair is still breaking off! PLEASE HELP ME.”

Vidal Sassoon’s brand was applied to shampoos and conditioners sold worldwide, with a commercial campaign featuring the iconic slogan in the 70’s: “If you don’t look good, we don’t look good.” He once said: “there’s more money in the hair products than hairstyling”.

Example from Craigslist FREE Offer: “Various hair and body items that I have used very little of each one. They are all excellent products but just do not work with my hair.”

“Overloading the hair doesn’t give better results. If you need more than more than 2-3 styling products, you’re probably using the wrong ones.” Hollywood’s most admired heads of hair – Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively, & Julia Roberts – said superstylist Serge Normant of NY & L.A. salons.

Eliminate the CAUSES for DRY HAIR FOREVER
      1. Hair gets very dry from too much sun exposure, same with the skin.
      2. Shampooing in Hot water & chlorine in the pool causes the skin to get ‘dishpan’ hands look, so does the hair. So use warm water.
      3. Blow drying too long. If you need to blow dry, towel dry first air dry some, then blow dry for 5 mins.
      4. Don’t use products containing alcohol. Gel has alcohol, so does hair spray. Add a small dollop (size of a quarter) of gel to keep hair from frizzing.
      5. Perming, relaxing & dyeing all causes hair feeling like hay. Get frequent trims, allowing new growth to take over.
      6. Don’t shampoo often. Washing less often, builds the natural oil your hair needs, to get them smoother, shinier, silkier, softer. Man-made products are just temporary, until you wash them again, and at the same time washing off the natural oil your hair NEEDS. Hair product just absorbs on your hair if they’re dry, like a sponge.
      7. Overbrushing. Avoid too much brushing or styling in the winter. Harsh winter months can leave your hair dry, dull, brittle, or frizzy.

      1. Cover your hair with a scarf or hat when you go outside to prevent sunburned even during winter.
      2. At the end of washing your hair, rinse it thoroughly with cold water. This locks in moisture, according to Hair Care, and gives your hair extra shine.
      3. Always dry your hair thoroughly before you go outside, since damp hair can freeze and break.

If you’ve straightened your hair in the past, it may grow slowly or none at all. Hair that you see now is dead. Wikipedia. But it has static electricity, when using heat, it sends currents to the roots, tampering them.
Google: “Foods for Healthy Hair”… – or 10 Best Foods for Your Hair.…
NO MATTER which link you picked, they all suggest the same foods. Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don’t expect to look like you’ve stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you’ve changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair.

Sending Ring Through Mail????? Long story short, im sending my girlfriend (who lives in another state right now) a ring with a note. I want to do this at least, but…

Cut me some slack here? Im 17 and i don’t know anything about mailing things and all that. All i know is that i need one of those padded envelopes to put the ring and letter in. I know you have to put the address, city, zip code and what not but what else do i put on the envelope? Where do i get stamps? How many do i put on the envelope? After that do i put it in my mail box or should i bring it to the post office? What should i expect them to ask me at the post office? How much will it cost to mail this to my girlfriend? I live in fresno California and she lives in Glasglow Montana right now.

Please excuse my ignorance of the situation, you know how today’s generation is…

Also its only a 90 or so dollar ring, so i don’t want to spend too much on insurance for it. And. Please give me a descriptive step-by-step process of how i should do this.

    • Curator says:

Put the ring into the padded envelope with the letter. Put the addresses on it. Take it to the post office. They’ll weigh it (it won’t weigh much) and tell you how much it will cost to ship it based on the origination and destination zip codes. Get $100 of insurance on it so if it gets lost or stolen (it happens) you’ll be covered. It doesn’t cost much for the insurance, and it won’t cost much for first-class postage, either. It will all be under $5, I’m sure.

If I Buy A Car Will I Have Certain Days To Get Insurance And Register It To Dmv Or Have To Do It Right Away? Okay I’m buying a car from a private owner. I loaned money from a bank and approved. Will I be able to drive it right away or must I get insurance first? Or get the car and get insurance for it also I’m getting the car on Saturday and DMV will be close so idk how that works. I’m a first time buyer and from CA thanks!

    • Curator says:

In most states you have ten days to get all the paper work finished. I have always bought cars , drive them home,You have abill of sale that covers you to get home.I have drove straight to the insurance office and got it covered a few times, each state is different as to how you have to insure your Car. Here I have called on the phone a time or two and given them the info , and had them bill me. But this is the advantage of being with a local agent, for a decade or more. Some delearships issue a temp that allows you to drive for a few days while you get everything takin car of It really depends on the state. I have purchased cars in California,Oregon, washington Idaho,Montana, Neveda.Texas an Oklahoma, Plus Illinois.

Medicaid Coverage Out Of State? Hi my daughter has medicaid coverage in New Mexico. At the moment we are in California. Unfortunately she got sick and has a fever, vomiting, stomachache and diarrhea. I’m thinking of taking her to the ER. I’m wondering though if her medicaid from New Mexico would cover her ER visit? I don’t have any money and idk what else to do.
