IS THE DOG FOOD ADVISOR A SCAM? I have been trying to warn people about the Diamond Pet Food recall for 2 months. In doing so I was banned from this site. Read my comments under Kirkland Dog Food (Dry). Now that the recall is finally published, the truth is out. But not all of it. There is still more to the recall. I believe all 3 manufacturing plants are contaminated. But Diamond won’t release that information because it will cost them too much money.

I believe the DOG FOOD ADVISOR is getting kickbacks from the pet food manufactures and they use his site to promote their food. Mike denies it, but Mike defended everyone that bashed me because I was trying to warn people about Kirkland dry Lamb and Rice dog food. It made all my dogs sick and killed one. Instead of supporting me, he defended the manufacture reps that use his site to post comments. Now the recall confirms my warning! So I think this site is a scam.
I don’t understand the slander comments. I only used the word “Hell” in the Dog Food Advisor forum. Not grounds to be banned. And I haven’t used any slander on this post.
Sorry but you have never privately apologized for the way I was treated by you and some of the regulars on your forum. In fact you defended them, calling me a troll, accusing me of using many names to post in your forum. You had access to check my IP address so you could have spoken up, but you didn’t until I requested you check it and confirm the accusations were false. You even made a derogatory comment about the trolls, referring to me. If someone had lost a pet and was trying to share that information on my forum, I certainly wouldn’t allow people to bully that person nor would I treat that person with the disrespect that I got on your forum.

The only profanity I ever used in your forum was the word “Hell”. So don’t lie about that. Prove that I used profanity!

I could go on but it’s not worth my time.
The recent additional comment was a remark to Mike Sagman’s post.

Never been to the site. If I wanted to research a dog food, I tested it for three months on my dogs. I keep coming back to Purina ONE and Purina ProPlan. I understand that site doesn’t think too highly of those foods. So never made sense to use a site for research that didn’t agree with what I could see with my own dogs.

I agree with Bob, though I’d go more for Blue Wilderness, just because it seems to have a little more meat than regular Blue Buffalo (unless I’m mistaken). Blue has a 5 star rating while Diamond has a 2 star rating, and has also gotten many recalls. I wouldn’t trust it.
