What Was Your Reaction To Eli Manning’s Snl Performance? Im a Giants fan so i maybe a little bias, but as we all know Eli does not have to much Carisma on Camera, so I was a little nervous when I heard he would be hosting SNL. I was sure it would be ok, but was also praying we did not have a crash and burn like the Situation on the roast of Donald Trump. Whats everyone reaction?? Like it, Love it or Hate it?????? please base your opinion on his SNl performance and dont just hate it becuase you like a Team in the Nfc east or happen to be a Patriots fan.
Which Manning Brother Would You Rather Have At Quarterback Eli Or Peyton? And lets pretend peyton is fully healthy and there is no questions about his health. who would you take?
Why Do People Compare Eli Manning To Tom Brady? Well i have been getting really tired of people comparing eli to tom, like seriously are you mentally retarded or what, im not saying eli is a terrible qb but if you look at his stats, they’re just as good as a mediocore QB like joe flacco and if you guys have seen his season, then you must be retarded to think he is better than tom brady. Tom on the other hand has won 3 super bowls, gone to 5, won 2 super bowl mvps and season mvps, has 2 first team all pro, while eli none of what tom has achieved. and seriously look at all the nfl records tom has broken. and when you look at it, its kind of sad that eli has been in the nfl for like 9 years and has as much interceptions as tom has had while being in the nfl for like 13 years, tom is 300 tds to 115 interceptions while eli is 169-115, look at that ratio, so why dont you look at them and compare for your selves.
reverned not really butt hurt, its just the fact that why everyone thinks eli is so good, and i like the patriots but the chiefs are my favorite team
Top Ten QB’s In The NFL Right Now? 1. Tom Brady
2. Drew Breed
3. Aaron Rodgers
4. Matthew Stafford
5. Eli Manning
6. Phillip Rivers
7. Cam Newton
8. Big Ben
9. Matt Ryan
10. Peyton Manning ( considering injury and new team )
Is This A Good Start, Feel Free To Critique.? I am a performer and therefore it is my job to wow the crow when I can. This can often be a particularly difficult feat in itself. During one night the crowd simply yawned as I caught a butcherâs knife and sang E sharp. It was not until I took the knife and threw it at a particularly rude gentlemanâs hat that I got any applause. Though, once I finally got that applause it was warm and thunderous. I had a bright smile sprawled across my face. My cheeks were flushed and red.
Since I have grown older, my performances have changed. When I first joined the Starlight City Theatre, I was four. Now I am seventeen. I have gone to singing, to knife catching, to being a magicians assistant and finally a dancer. Since Nadine was declared too old to introduce the show I was given centre stage. I used to enjoy the feel of peoples eye upon me, I no longer do. The eyes are not friendly, they judge. They think I am common. Even though they enjoy watching me dance and love to see a man throw knives and try not to hit me, they think I am beneath them.
âYou are the star of the show, Vedette.â Says Pierre. My name could be Vedette but I am not sure. I was left at the theatre and raised in the theatre. I didnât know my name or my mother. So, Pierre called me Vedette⦠he called me Star.
âMerci, Pierre.â I say and then I step out on to the shaky stage. It is almost pitch black except for a few torches by the side of the stage, the fire is flicker and orange.
âBonjour,â I smile and curtsy as I address the full crowd, âJeâmappelle Vedette.â I tip my head to the side sweetly. A few whistles and my stomach is on fire.
âWe have quite a show lined up for you this evening.â My fingers entwined themselves into my fair curls. The silver tassels on my skirt are tickling the floor. The curtains open and Eli, the young conjuror steps out. He removes his tall hat and I step back watching him from the shadows. He never has to perform the same dry and risqué performance. He is original and different every night. He has no looks to be used for and that is why I admire him. Out his hat he pulls not a rabbit, not a dove, not a scarf but an angry serpent.
âOh dear!â he exclaims. He the puts the snake back in the hat. The crowd laughs until red in the face.
âOi, what are you doing in my house?â a voice asks. Eli draws his arm up and pulls out the head of a very angry man.
âI did not mean to be in your house, sir.â Eli mumbles. The man starts to pull himself out of the hart so nervously Eli pulls the hat back onto his head. Applause, as suspected, fills the room. I step out and call on the next act. As the hour gets later I start to feel dread. My act will be on. The clock finally strikes twelve and the stage is mine. Dressed in little more than rags I approach the stage. My body moves in an impure manner for the crowd. My mind does nothing, except switch of and pretend I am elsewhere. The piano play stops and so do I.
âAu revoir, mes amants.â I say and finally leave the stage.
âFantastique as always.â Pierre says as he kisses me on the forehead with his greasy mouth. I smile uncomfortably, Pierre has changed since my childhood.
âI do what it takes to entertain.â I reply.
âNow, I have a new dance that is trés popular in a dance club in Paris that you must try.â He puts an arm around me and leads me to the office. Many high kicks and big skirts later and I am quite exhausted.
âVedette!â a voice calls. My feet twist (as do the rest of my body) and a tall man (who I believe was in the crowd tonight and last night and possibly the night before that) stands before me.
âI am your biggest fan, I have seen your performances, ever since you were a little girl.â He speaks in a fragmented French accent, it is much closer to Italian.
âMerci.â I say.
âSâil vous plait, come have a drink with me?â he asked me. He wrapped his fingers around my bare arms.
âI can not, I have to maintain my reputation.â I reply as I try to pull myself away.
âThen take me to your room.â He says. I nod, he is most definitely the tenacious type. We walk along the dirty halls and rotting wooden floors. A dead butterfly is caught in a spiders web. Finally we find my room. The mattress is slumped on the bed and the blanket draped over it. A cabinet contain nothing more than old wine and two glasses. I pour two, the blood coloured liquid fills the little glass. I pass it to the man and then I sit on the bed. He sits next to me. His lips caress the crystal glass. This while time his velvet hood has been pulled over his eyes and nose.
âHave you ever wondered who your real mother is?â he asks.
Taken aback by this I replied âNever.â As soon as I hear my own words I gasp.
âAnd do you ever wonder what your true name is?â he asks.
âNot really.â I replied.
âYou are not very curious, are you?â he smiles.
âNot very, my mind is dead from all of⦠this.â I say firmly.
âAnd how do you feel about Pierre?â he asks.
âHe is disgusting.â I answer.
âSee how easy it is to tell the truth, fine wine loosens oneâs tongue.â He says.
Suddenly, with shaking hands, I pull his hood down. There is a scar running from his right eye, the shape of a snake. The skin around that scar is crumpled and blistered. I put my hand on the scar. My hand feels warms, too warm. My hand feels as though it is on fire. I try to jerk it back but his face is fused with my hand. Finally a cold feeling runs through me. I draw my hand back and see his new face. It is fresh and free from as much as a scratch.
âMy god, you are the healer.â He says. He grabs my hands and puts them to his chest.
âCome with me, you must.â He begs.
âWhat if I donât want to.â I reply pulling my hands away.
âAnything is better than this degradation!â he says. I look at him and finally give him my hand.
