Is There A Bottom In Sight For GMCR? Pounded 20% this week. It seems that anytime any analyst says something bad about this stock, everyone dumps it. Is there a bottom? Will GMCR become a penny stock anytime soon? What does “capitulation” mean?
Oh..and are there any of those K-cups that have kopi luwak? Can you drink luwak that way?

    • Curator says:

K-Cups is an old expensive idea,..That’s probably loosing share, as compared to others coffees including..”Free Trade”..Ethiopian Harrar in a Bodum coffee pot,..just had some..good stuff..
Free Trade,… a new supply of coffee,.. undoing monopolies…
GMCR is tainted just like netflix..

“capitulation” mean?….Thoroughly disgusted and given-up,..all the amateur investors have been shaken out,..Those that bought at an expensive Price…There’s no one left to Sell and mess-up your Buy…but I wouldn’t buy..ever…

No one grows 100% per year forever, and this stock is priced like it will. Net tangible assets per share is negative, FCF is negative, and their main product (expensive coffee maker) is probably a fad.”….. http://caps.fool.com/Ticker/GMCR.aspx

kopi luwak?……I’ll Pass….Amazon only has whole beans @ $60 bag….(Customer Review)..”Expensive, but it costs a lot of money to find the Vietnamese farmers crazy enough to harvest these from weasel poop. Seriously… are they just chasing them around waiting for the poop?

Can A Credible Organization Muzzle David Einhorn’s Unfounded Stock Bashing Green Mountain Coffee GMCR? CNN, MSNBC and other cable and mainstream media have recently reported this rogue analyst’s completely false reworking Green Mountain’s company report math. Credible analysts have debunked Einhorn and explained the correct report and statistics.

Who is responsible for overseeing stock analysts to enforce business ethics for responsible public distribution of correct facts?

Isn’t it illegal to be an insider holding large blocks of stock then spreading negative rumors to assault good returns and growth to then benefit from price drops by selling short? Isn’t Einhorn a notorious short seller who lines his own pockets by declaring war on a company?

    • Curator says:

Sun Trust analysts have gone over Einhorn’s power point presentation with a fine tooth comb and say he’s wrong in two areas that threw off his conclusions. He struck out on this one. Oh and by the way he has large short holdings and the stock just kept posting higher earnings and gains which hurt his short positions. Isn’t it a little too convenient that he has a big vested interest in crashing the success party? Einhorn’s not the first hedge fund manager to get too cocky and blow it big time.

I use K cups at home after learning about them at my attorney’s office. They’re fantastic! Each person can choose their own flavor and there’s no mess. Of course it’s more expensive to package them than dipping into the same boring bag of coffee at home.

And NO the market isn’t saturated at all. Costco and Staples just started carrying them, you can’t get them in supermarkets and I order online with an automatic delivery every 2 months and am increasing. For summer they had the best flavored iced teas brewed hot over a glass of ice! Always fresh, no mess, and we love the variety! They even have de-caf and new flavors every month.

The market’s not saturated until there’s a K cup machine in every location you see a pot of stale coffee that’s sat there all day.

Is David Einhorn A Wall Street Manipulator Laughing All The Way To The Bank Bashing Green Mountain Coffee GMCR? I want to know if he has a license or membership to any credible reporting journalistic organization, anyone know? He’s been quoted, and now proven absolutely wrong, as saying incorrect bad things about a great company I’ve worked for, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, to drive the stock price down to his own benefit.

Don’t stock analysts have any business code of ethics to report facts correctly? Is there any oversight organization for egregious wild misreporting like David Einhorn’s doing that hurts employees and jobs in order to line his own pockets short selling?

    • Curator says:

I don’t think you have any idea what you are talking about. David Einhorn is not a journalist; he is a highly-respected hedge fund owner (and part owner of the greatest team in baseball next year -the Mets). There is no chance that he has been “proven wrong” in the things he says about GMCR because it’s just not the kind of stuff that can be proven wrong. For instance, Einhorn and GMCR will both agree that FCF hasn’t been very good for the last few years. Einhorn is highly critical of the company for this. GMCR says it’s due to temporary acquisitions and CAPEX and FCF will eventually accrue to investors. On other issues such as the rate of acquiring new users, Einhorn wants disclosure and believes that the rate is dropping. GMCR won’t disclose this.

Honestly, I am sorry to say this, but Einhorn is being hyper-responsible here. GMCR is a darling of the stock world and sells at a 57 P/E. Someone has to be telling the bear story as GMCR is disclosing less and less. I challenge you to come up with anything that you think is “egregious wild misreporting” from a guy who has a very impressive track record of sniffing this stuff out. You don’t even seem to know who Einhorn is (which means that you don’t know verty much about finance) and you post somethinng accusing the guy of unethical journalism. The fact is that you are looking like something of a nut here.
