How Did You Become A Fan Of Your Favorite Team? I became a fan of the Golden State Warriors on December 26th, 2008.

It was a home game against the Boston Celtics, the NBA champs at the time. They were 29-3 and we were 7-22.

The Warriors trailed by 20 points at half time but went on an amazing 4th quarter run, outscoring the Celtics by 20, on route to a 99-89 win.

I have followed every single Warriors game since that game. GO DUBS! 🙂

Did A Volunteer From Golden State Warrior’s Organization Steal Tim Duncan’s Warm Up Jacket Just Now? If anyone’s watching the Golden State play off game now, Tim Duncan was going back in to play with a couple seconds left before half time, and he took off his warm up sweat shirt or jacket and threw it quickly on the side lines, and some body from Golden State, ran over and picked it up, and ran back underneath the goal on Golden State’s side of the court, and they showed a brief shot of him playing around with his jacket lol. I just thought it was funny. Anyone else notice this? I think it might have been one of the Warrior’s volunteers who cleans the basketball courts and stuff, I dunno, it happened so quickly. I was like, he copped Tim Duncan’s jacket, and he didn’t try to give it back to anyone on the Spurs lol. Not that it matters, but this is what makes sports funny sometimes. I hope Golden state comes back. I dig the spurs, but I like Steph Curry and the way Golden State shoots when they are on fire.
@ Pokeman… I dig the spurs cuz Tim Duncan’s from my home town. Good luck!

Only positives happen. It’s still the bay area right across the bay 15-20 minutes. SF is way nicer than Oakland. They would get a new arena too

What Basketball Team Should I Support? This question has probably been asked a lot but I still want an answer directed towards me

I don’t live in the US, but I really want to get into basketball

The only sport I’m currently into is football/soccer, I’ve been an Arsenal fan for about 5 years (I’m 16 by the way)

Being an Arsenal fans means that I’m not a glory hunter, my team does not necessarily have to win every game but I love to watch them play well (even if they don’t win)
We have quite a few youngsters, more so than we have experienced players
Manager kind of likes to buy them young and then train them
I want a successful team but also one that can be the underdog at times..
So your suggestions are welcome 🙂
EDIT: And one more thing, if you don’t mind, could you please explain how the NBA even works? Lol cuz I have no clue.

basketball is summarized as a full team sport, and like soccer the tempo of bball can be pretty dull at times, but then extremely intense and nail biting at others. playoffs are the games in brackets to see who plays each other for championship.
Length of the game is split into 4 quarters, each quarter is 12 minutes.

please read it on wikipedia, it can get pretty detailed like foul situations.

If you like arsenal, you would absolute love Golden state warriors (extremely young, full of talent, and if you watch now you’ll see they’re in a tight battle w/ the spurs right now in playoffs)
Current playoff teams youd like: NY knicks, okc thunder, bulls,
but as i said before, you would love the golden state warriors.
