  • Google’s Pokemon Challenge? Alright. So I really don’t care if this is a prank or not, but I do want in on the gaming action. It says I must have a fully updated version of Google maps and then press the “Press Start” button to start my adventure. Problem is, this “updated” version of Maps doesn’t give me that option. So, what should I do? Is there something that I’m missing?
(Picture is example of “home screen” as soon as I press my Google Maps app button. It pretty much just takes me to my location and waits for an address to look for)

  • In Google’s Pokemon Challenge, Has Anyone Caught An Absol? I want to know where Absol can be found all over the world before Google takes it down. I’ve seen multiple Milktanks and Goodras -for example- each in different locations on Google Maps(most recent version) , so I can presume Absol is not native only to japan (There is one standing outside of a bath-house in the Asakusa district of Tokyo).

Isn’t Minecraft Getting A Little Bit Overrated? By a little, I mean A LOT!
If you type in “M” in YouTube, it’s the first result!
Almost every day, at least ONE or more groups of people are talking about “DURRR MIENCRAFF!! I DIDN’T DOWNLOAD DIS MAP I MAED IT DUUURRRRR”
I used to play it, all the time to be exact, but it’s getting a little old!
!!! I am NOT saying it is a bad game, but too much people are so attached to it !!!
And don’t get me started on mods! 90% of the people who play it, have mods installed, and do not play it legitimately.

And if you also look under M, Miley Cyrus and Michael Jackson come up. Under J, Justin Bieber. I personally don’t find their appeal but others do.

Minecraft is fun because it is always changing. With the most recent releases, 1.6.X and 1.7.X, so much content has been added keeping the game fresh.

I don’t know anyone saying “DURRR MIENCRAFF!! I DIDN’T DOWNLOAD DIS MAP I MAED IT DUUURRRRR” and Google can’t seem to find things related to that so it’s just your opinion on Maps.

One thing you said is what I see people often saying which is incorrect: “…people who play it, have mods installed, and do not play it legitimately.” Mods are what make the game more fun. Mojang created Minecraft with the ability of it to be modded. They LIKE the idea of people creating mods and plugins to make their game more enjoyable. They are even working on a way to make using mods easier so don’t say they don’t play it legitimately because their is no “legitimate” way to play Minecraft.

Popular and overrated are 2 different things. Minecraft is POPULAR. It’s what people like to play. Just like COD or Pokemon. They are very popular and may eventually lose their fans, but right now its what is “in.”
