  • Why Does The Democrat Led Senate Refuse To Pass The Reasonable Budget That The House Sent Them? The Republican led House recently sent the Democrat led Senate a bill with funding for everything except Obamacare, and with a provision that delays Obamacare for a year.

Even though Obamacare was passed more than 5 years ago, it is only perfectly reasonable to expect the Senate to pass this bill that the House sent them, because Obamacare is socialism. Instead, they sent it back to the Senate with the Obamacare funding included and no delay of Obamacare’s implementation.

Why do Democrats in the Senate continue to hold the Federal Government budget hostage rather than accept the House’s perfectly reasonable demands?

Obviously the blame for the pending Federal Government shutdown rests on the Democrats in the Senate.

A conservative challenge to the president’s health care law has the federal government teetering on the brink of a partial shutdown.

The Senate has the next move on must-do legislation required to keep the government open past midnight on Monday, and the Democratic-led chamber is expected to reject the latest effort from House Republicans to use a normally routine measure to attack President Barack Obama’s signature health care law.

Congress was closed for the day on Sunday after a post-midnight vote in the GOP-run House to delay by a year key parts of the new health care law and repeal a tax on medical devices as the price for avoiding a shutdown. The Senate is slated to convene Monday afternoon just 10 hours before the shutdown deadline, and Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has already promised that majority Democrats will kill the House’s latest volley.

A House GOP leader, Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, said the House would again rebuff the Senate’s efforts to advance the short-term funding bill as a simple, “clean” measure shorn of anti-heath care reform provisions.

It’s no secret, most Americans know Obama care is a scam. The only ones supporting Obama care, are those who need drugs to forget the coming of judgment day. Hebrews 9:27

Rep Kevin McCarthy warned us long in Los Angeles about no choice with Obama care. Get to the highway and warn the others, before it is too late. Since your next, it’s your neck.

  • Maurice says:

Polls Are Out! 46% Blame Republicans Vs. 36% That Blame Democrats/President. Does? This mean that there will be a shutdown?

This is very bad news. Since all Obama cares about is blame, and since it’s now determined that the blame will be aimed at Republicans, there’s no way we can avoid a shutdown now.

The will of the people is irrelevant as long as it’s good for his party.

Outside of allowing the disastrous ACA to be enacted, is there any way to keep the government running? It doesn’t look like it any longer.

  • Henry says:

I Want The Shutdown. Anyone With Me? Having the government shutdown of the incompetency of Obama and Harry Reid really appeals to me. It certainly will not affect my life.

  • Qwerty says:

Why Can’t Obama And The Senate Just Agree That Obamacare Isn’t Right For The Country Right Now? Don’t get me wrong, I believe every human being is entitled to basic human rights such as food, shelter, education, and health care. However, our economy just can’t bear the weight of a new healthcare system right now. Most polls show that only about 38% of Americans approve of the law. I feel that our economy is on the brink of a point where our government won’t be able to provide basic welfare and social services as it is doing now. We first need to fix the economy and figure out a way to raise the incomes of all Americans, especially the needy, and cut taxes. If people have higher incomes and better financial securities, then millions less would actually need the benefits of a health care law. I feel that the senate should have listened to the American people and the House of Representatives today, to avoid the government shutdown, but it seems as if they had made it inevitable. What are your views on this matter?

  • Will The Looming Government Shutdown Set A New Precedent? If this government shutdown takes place, is it fair to say that any time the watchdog party does not agree with a law, they can threaten to shut down the government in order to get exactly what they want?
