What Are Some Good Stocks? We’re playing a stock market game in Business Math. My team is losing. We did have USO but my friend sold it when it started losing and now it’s gaining 🙁 We have Target FCX and SPY, Green mountain coffee, and CAT, but the only things we’re really gaining o are FCX and SPY, and a little on target. I really hate losing so any help would be greatly appreciated!

No stock is predictable, but anything in healthcare is always stable. Anything with military right now is risky. The value of the dollar is low right now, so any banking firms or banks go high then low then high then low. Id stick with technologies and healthcare.

What Are Some Light Roast Coffees I Should Buy In A K-Cup Pack? I can only get one more because I already chose my favorite which was Green Mountains Wild Blueberry. I like to drink coffee black. I like light roasts that are not bold but I CAN do with extra bold…I just have to ignore the taste. I was going to pick the Costa Rica one but IDK… Please choose one you think I might like from Keurig.com. And I usually like ones with a hint of fruit in them.

I always love the donut shop ones! They actually have a pretty good taste to them plain, not like usual black coffees. I would stay away from the generic cafe looking ones..they taste like water and powder. The Barnie’s ones also taste pretty good. More like coffee with a hint of special flavor.

Why’s Jim Cramer Mad Money Bowing To Herb Greenberg Like Trashing BEST OF BREED Green Mt Coffee Roasters GMCR? On CNBC Cramer sheepishly yielded to his “friend” Herb Greenberg on many issues, including Greenberg’s bashing of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters; without even accounting lack of market saturation for kids, work places, groups, parties, of the variety of K Cup tea, iced tea, and cocoa options in addition to coffee from all over the world. The coffees already include tons of flavors.

No cost needed for fancy and fresh condiments. What about the costs of millions of pots of coffee poured down the drain because it’s old or doesn’t suit the tastes of a group?

      Hi TomW –
I know that you are long GMCR and have lost lots of money because of misbehavior at the company. You should know that you can join the class action lawsuit against GMCR and possibly recoup some of the money that you have lost. From the article below:

The complaint accuses the defendants of violations of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by virtue of the Company’s failure to disclose during the Class Period and/or in connection with the May 2011 Offering that the Company used GMCR’s key fulfillment vendor, M. Block & Sons (“MBlock”), to house excessively manufactured, expired, or otherwise unsold product and materially overstated its revenues based on falsified sales orders, including through sham inventory shipments, for hundreds of millions of dollars in K-Cup and Keurig brewer products, booked “revenues” associated with these false sales orders and shipments as though they were real, and overstated its assets in proportion to its fictitious revenues by carrying the proceeds of dummy sales as assets on its balance sheet. According to the complaint, after, on October 17, 2011, GMCR’s misconduct and questionable relationship with MBlock was disclosed, and after, on November 9, 2011, the Company announced disappointing earnings and a very large increase in inventory, the value of GMCR shares declined significantly.

BTW – You do not have to be an owner of GMCR anymore to be a participant in this lawsuit. You could sell this dog and still have a chance of recouping some money that they defrauded you of. I’m not sure why you are concerned about coffee flavors in the face of widescale fraud.

Thanks To Green Tea, Now I Can’t Stand The Taste Of Coffee, Whoa! Help.? I started drinking coffee before age 12. : o It was intermittent then because in order to make it I had to ask permission to use the kitchen and then I only had one 8oz cup per diem. Soon thereafter I was enrolled at a boarding school with dormitories that had a small latrine attached the bedroom which became a coffee station allowing me to stay awake till dawn studying math and languages using an espresso machine, or often a french press pot. I took great care to use high quality infusions and I tended towards addiction to it, tho at current I have stopped tasting it in small quantities or even caring about the taste so much.

One time during a holiday from college my older friend brought me high-mountain oo-long tea and served in the gungfu cha style with a 4oz yi-xing teapot in the tiny porcelin. And I sort of stopped drinking coffee or tea after that except for one 4oz cup in the mornings.

So it’s sad because I miss tasting it, I mean what happened.
