My Apologies To This Section ( I’m Not A Troll I’m Just An Idiot )? I posted the following question.

“The legislature of Rosenberg Texas is making a modesty law that prohibits:

    1. Thongs

    2. Low cut Blouses

    3. Shorts on women

    4. Bikinis

    5. Skirt above the knee.

The law effects women over 13 and starts out with a fine, repeated violators of this law have to do community service and the “immodest clothing is confiscated and destroyed”. The legislature said they want “godly women who know their place”.

I thought we lived in America! For any Constitutional Lawyers how long will this law last?

I’m a male and I don’t live in Texas but I’m concerned for my fellow Americans’ freedoms.”

I saw the article in a link on huffington post but it had no sources and was only a few sentences long, I must have been listening to either outright lies or satire. Thank you fellow users for informing me of this. Rest assured if this ever happened it would be a national debate / story in a day so the source must have been fake.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    • Curator says:

You’re not a troll or an idiot. I think you’re awesome for being concerned with a woman’s constitutional rights, even if the article turned out to be fake. Very cool.

  • Why Isn’t There 24/7 Coverage Of Kermit Gosnell’s Trial? Does The Lamestream Media Hate America? The lamestream media is trying to cover up Gosnell’s trial because it doesn’t support their pro-abortion agenda.

For example, the only media outlets covering this trial are Fox, MSNBC, CNN, The Atlantic, Politico, The Washington Post, Huffington Post, Al Jazeera, ABC, Skate, The Washington Times, CBS, Media Matters, Daily Caller, Free Republic, The Root, Reality Check, Mother Jones, Newsday, The Daily Beast, the LA Times, the NY Daily News, Buzzfeed, the Post-Gazette, The Nation, Mediate, NPR, USA Today, The Weekly Standard, The Christian Science Monitor, and about 5 million blogs.

Clearly, this is a cover up. Why hasn’t Obama personally paid for 24/7 news coverage on Gosnell?

Any Suggestions, I Need A Job? I’m 13, and want to go into journalism for a living, but I need some experience, know of any places near greenville /easley/ pickens like a newspaper?

    • Curator says:

K, consider looking at Blogs, and, snag-a-job,
Your School District might have some ideas.
Look at on-line papers like Huffington Post. TV Stations and Local Community Papers.

  • Rhane says:

Having The Same Blog On Two Different Sites? I just made a blog on Blogger.
Is it recommended (and legal) for me to keep that one up and put up the same one on Tumblr?

(don’t ask why I thought It may be illegal, I’m new at this…. :P)

    • Curator says:

Definitely not illegal…especially since you are the author of both.

And there WILL NOT be a duplicate content penalty. This is the most mis-understood thing in SEO.

The duplicate content penalty applies when you have duplicate content on THE SAME site. As in multiple pages that have content that is more or less the same. When you have different websites with the same content, the one that publishes the content first gets the rankings (in theory). However, it often happens that the site with the most authority will get ranked highest (even if it didn’t post the content originally).

For example, if a blog post from your brand new blog gets picked up by Huffington Post, the Huffingtong Post article will outrank yours. Of course, that’s not really a problem because they will give you credit for it and drive a ton of traffic to your blog :).

The real question you should be asking yourself is what is the benefit of posting to both platforms?
