Need To Finalize Baseball Keepers Before Deadline? 16 team H2H auction keeper league
    10 keepers per team
    $260 budget

    Here are my definite keepers:

    $17 Adrian Gonzalez
    $3 Jason Kipnis
    $3 Brett Lawrie
    $3 Wil Myers
    $25 Felix Hernandez
    $18 Gio Gonzalez
    $3 Madison Bumgarner
    $3 CJ Wilson
    $3 Kris Medlen

Trying to decide on the last spot between:

    $4 David Ortiz
    $28 Yadier Molina

On the one hand, Ortiz is only $4… but he’s so injury prone, and is still recovering from that achilles injury last year, and may not be ready for the start of the year. And Molina is the #2 ranked catcher.. expensive at $28, and about the same price he’s being valued at by ESPN.

Should I go with Ortiz, and just try to pick up Molina in the draft? Or keep Molina?

    • Curator says:

Agree with the guy above ^. Catcher can be deep with Rosario and Perez. Also, Napoli should have a bounce back year and Pierzynski is waayyy underpriced this year.

    • Curator says:

You need to put a higher priority on starting pitchers. Don’t overspend on hitting and definitely don’t overspend on closers (of the 30 Opening Day closers last year, 10 of them were still their team’s closers by the end of the season). Starting pitching is the key to having a great team.
