Houston Texans: Jadeveon Clowney, DE/OLB, South Carolina
This is an obvious pick with Jadeveon Clowney on the board. Some call Clowney the top defensive prospect to come along in years. Clowney has motivational problems, as Charlie Campbell reported before anyone else about two months ago. Clowney is having a mediocre season, but teams will overlook that in favor of his talent. There were similar concerns with Julius Peppers coming out of North Carolina in 2002, and he still went No. 2 overall.

The Texans aren’t getting much of a pass rush from their outside linebackers. Whitney Mercilus hasn’t done much outside of the Seattle game, while Brooks Reed has been an even greater disappointment. Clowney would provide a huge boost.

Uh, Crap What Do I Do? I have Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush and Lesean McCoy. I have 2 RB slots and a flex spot that allows for a QB also. I have Tony Romo and Cam Newton as my 2 QB’s. AP is obvious. Do I play McCoy or Bush in my 2nd slot this week? Or both and sit one of my Qb’s in my flex.

    Really appreciate the feedback.

    • Curator says:

Start both QBS and McCoy. Newton is playing SF but their secondary isn't all that strong. Plus McCoy is the best player on the Eagles while Bush has to compete with MegaTron. That's what I would do. But keep in mind that McCoy is playing a banged up Packers D while Bush is playing a stout Chicago D…. with Julius Peppers. Hope that helps.
