Good NBA2k14 My Assoc. 2014-2015 Roster?:)? After the 2013-2014 season. i had one of the worst record then i got the no.2 pick i select andrew wiggins. then for the 3rd pick the bucks ask a trade for the 3rd pick for evan turner and thaddeus young w/ my 2014 2nd round pick which i accept and i select jabari parker. the 6th pick which come from the pelicans i select marcus smart in which i traded him w/ other players to the pacers and I got thomas robinson, robin lopez and cj watson.(actually a 3 team trade w/ portland, more players are involved). so my lineup now is:
    Spencer Hawes
    Blair(free agent)
    wrotten jr

Rank These Running Backs? Rank these running backs as the greatest of all time.

    Earl Campbell
    Eric Dickerson
    Bo Jackson
    Walter Payton
    Adrian Peterson
    Barry Sanders
    Emmitt Smith
    Herschel Walker

Include any others you think belong.
    Marcus Allen
    Jim Brown
    Tony Dorsett
    OJ Simpson

    • Curator says:

      Walter Payton – awesome
Jim Brown – Man among boys
Bo Jackson – best pure athlete
Herschel Walker – best college player ever, pure class, very smart, great athlete, but took a beating in the USFL
Barry Sanders – should’ve been on a better team and had a fullback in front of him
Earl Campbell – class act and tough as nails, took too much of a beating
Marcus Allen – Best fundamentals I ever saw, only ran about 4.7 for the 40 but still had great yardage totals
OJ – great runner but took a beating on bad teams
Terry Metcalf – prototype for the receiver out of the backfield
Eric Dickerson – ran out of bounds too much
Pete Banaszak – best back ever if you needed two tough yards, unstoppable at the goal line
Sam “Bam” Cunningham – another awesome goal line back

  • Hi says:

Bucks Going For Marcus Smart? WTF. why y wouldn’t they’ve for Andrew wiggings, or Jabari Parker ( if he enters). They said Brandon knight will be there future, looks like they lied. He’s really good, not a star but good. If they get the 1 or 2 draft pick why would they go for Marcus smart???

    • Curator says:

I just had a look at this story. Seems like they are looking to move on Larry Sanders for some Draft picks at the deadline. The Bucks are all over the place right now. This offseason they say Henson and Sanders are their fontcourt of the future and that they are gonna be a playoff contender with Mayo and Knight in the backcourt. Atm Mayo is barely getting 20 minutes a game and he is undoubtedly their best player and Sanders hasn’t clicked with Coach Drew so they wanna get rid of him. They seem to have no plan or direction at all. They start off with high hopes for the playoffs and then now are eager to hit the jackpot in this year’s draft. They have a nice young core in Sanders, Henson, Knight, Middleton, Antetokounmpo and Wolters. As for Smart, I do not see any purpose in drafting him and I solely agree with you. The BEST fits for Milwaukee in this draft is Dante Exum, Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker, BUT if they do trade Sanders Embiid will be the optimum choice. Im glad Im not a Bucks fan because this organisation really is a joke.

Emperor Marcus Aurelius was a Stoic, one of the most Vulcan-like civilizations on earth. If you don’t think strong people have those, read his book “Meditations”. It is still one of the most read–and well appreciated–books read by smart people. And it’s in everyday language, about his life, his mother, his travails, and he was very personal about it, never expecting others to read it.

Should I Join The Military? So I am rather torn between joining the military or becoming a neurosurgeon. Ever since 3rd grade (I’m a sophomore in high school), I have been interested in neuroscience and wanted to become a neurosurgeon. I have really enjoyed learning about it also. Around 4th grade I got interested in the military and throughout 6th grade truely considered it. I read books (including The Lone Survivor, and I adored Marcus after that), watched shows, did research, etc. But after a while I wasn’t sure if that was my right path. From about 7th grade until now I am not sure of which path to pursue. I want to become a neurosurgeon and get my medical degree, and I would become one after my service (if I did join). But as a sophomore in Highschool, I would still have 18 more years of school until I’m licensed (if I don’t enlist). I also want to be able to provide and be there for my family some day. But I also have DEEP pride in my country and want to serve and protect it. Any opinions on the matter?

    • Curator says:

If you are smart enough to succeed in college and medical school, I would suggest that you choose that path. After you become a doctor, you could then look into being a military doctor if you still have any interest in the military at that time.

Is My NBA 2K14 Association Team Good? I used the Orlando Magic and Simmed till next Season:

In year one I traded Arron Afflalo, Mo Harkless, and Glen Davis for Derrick Favors and Jazz’ 1st rd.
In the offseason I drafted Andrew Wiggins #1 after a tanking season, and used the Jazz’ pick (6) for Marcus Smart. I signed Eric Bledsoe, Ed Davis, Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen, and Anderson Varejao in free agency. After the second year started, I traded Smart and Nikola Vucevic for Al Horford, and traded Derrick Favors and Varejao for Josh Smith (I found it funny that J Smoove and Horford re-unite once more, and Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis will most likely retire together after playing together on the Sonics, Heat, and now Magic). After trading our backup C, I signed Robin Lopez as a replacement.

    PG: E Bledsoe, J Nelson
    SG: V Oladipo, R Allen, D Lamb
    SF: A Wiggins, T Harris
    PF: J Smith, E Davis, R Lewis
    C: A Horford, R Lopez

What do you think? I think this team can make a nice playoff push.

    • Curator says:

I think you made some good moves and bad moves. Good moves obviously include getting Wiggins and Bledsoe, but I do not think Vucevic should have been rid of. But other than that…
