Does The NAACP Subscribe To Black Liberation Theology Along With Obama?
What Is Wrong With Our Society? Do you think the U.S. is becoming more, and more racist? Hear me out now, and if you are easily offended, LEAVE now, also please have an open mind, (im 12 and I’m just expressing my opinion). everyday I click on an article and I see hateful comments from whites, blacks, etc.. organizations like the NAACP are more focused on the advancement of black people and the deterioration of white people which makes me sick, but it doesn’t stop there. white people counter-react to this by posting hateful comments about them in order to “feel secure” and “gain moral support from other whites.” here, take a look: http://news.yahoo.com/naacp-backs-same-sex-marriage-civil-214635990.html.
scroll all the way down to the comments.
this isn’t an example of blacks wanting to be more superior than whites, but whites ‘being with their own pack and feeling secure’.
why can’t blacks just TRULY try to even it out rather than trying to be better and gaining more advantages, and why can’t whites just NOT take that to heart and be so racist. this kind of stuff isn’t limited to the internet, i’ve seen it everywhere i go. in schools, public transportation, malls. this one of my english teachers even made a subtle remark which i dare not say, believe me or not.
my sole question: why can’t someone just be the bigger man and try to get us to get along, because as much as you try to make yourself believe that everything is alright and we are developing, both sides show hints of pure hatred and a feeling of superiority, whether it’s completely obvious, or subtly hinted.
btw, i used the terms ‘blacks’ and ‘whites’ because i didn’t want to beat around the bush and use ‘caucasian’ and ‘african american’. i wanted to get my POINT accross. please mind my horrible grammar, as i’m typing this on my messed up laptop.
