What Do You Think About The Nashville Predators, The Possibility Of Them Moving, And Trading Voukon? I’m really upset with the deal with Jim Basillie. The trade of Kimmo Timonen, Scott Hartnell, and Thomas Voukon. This morning, I heard that they didn’t have enough money to get any of our free agents back so that probably means that Paul Kariya will be gone too. I’m angry and sad at the same time. I have had season tickets for a long time and I am so aggravated to the management of The Predators.

I’m curious as to what other Preds fans, non-Preds fans, and hockey fans in general think about what’s going on in Nashville.

Everyone is right… but the massive player dump hasnt depleated a good team.. IF kariya is resigned; another good hartnell is accuired and local “big money” steps up and buys at least 40% of the team– look out.. these trades were trimming of the fat so to speak.. the team is still loaded with an awesome 6’5″ goalie on backup now.. just sign 2-3 offensive weapons and were set..

these trades are for 2 reasons… 1- lower operating cost for leipold should he find no buyer-(not likely though).. 2- get down the teams net value to attract the local group who is interested in ownership…

look at the lineup– this team is still a threat.. and remember, we get another weapon back that was absent from the playoffs–sullivan.. with 2 offensive recruits and one good defenseman,(possibly kevin klein) this can work… so get your @ss some tickets man…

hang in there RACHEL– kariya may just be back next year:)

Has Joel Ward Of The Nashville Predators Brought Popularity In Ice Hockey Among The Black Youth In Tennessee? I’m not from Nashville or Tennessee in general; but I would like to know if Joel Ward, a black Canadian playing for the Predators, has done community outreach. Dustin Byfuglien has done it here in Chicago with the NHL outreach program Hockey Is For Everyone, which is a program to get ethnic minorities interested about ice hockey.

Sorry, I couldn’t find anything about this on any forums. Thanks.
