Basketball: Let’s Play 2013 NBA Mock Draft????? Since we know the draft order now

    1. Cavs- Still like Noel here as the first pick. Sure has a knee injury but will be super effective with Irving and Waiters

    2. Magic- Need a playmaking scorer. Go Trey Burke here

    3. Wizards: First trade of the night, with a simple swap of positions. Washington trades down to 10th with Portland. Blazers select shooter Ben Mclemore

4.Bobcats- Charlotte disappointed they couldn’t grab Mclemore so the next best option is: Victor Oladipo

    5. Suns- Need a down below presence so why not go Anthony Bennet here

    6. Pelicans- A bit of a surprise here to see Otto Porter here but it makes up for the bust that Austin Rivers will be

    7. Kings- Need a PG since Evans is all but gone. Michael Carter Williams goes here

    8. Pistons- Best player available for them: Go Shabazz Muhammed

    9. T-Wolves: Kevin Love needs help scoring points here: CJ McCollum to the rescue!

    10. Wizards- Traded down earlier for a big guy since getting one at 3 is a likely reach so go Cody Zeller here. I like him a lot

    11. Sixers- Hmmm what here? I admit I haven’t watched this team at all so what are their needs? I guess best player available for them so maybe go Alex Len? A good young C that might push out the bad in Andrew Bynum

    12. Thunder- Kendrick Perkins was god awful in the playoffs so useless. Go big here again: Gorgui Dieng will help clog the paint along with Ibaka

    13. Mavs: Another team I don’t know much about. I guess maybe PG here? Dennis Schroder maybe? A Rajon Rondo type player from what Ive heard from scouts. Or maybe to make up for the loss of Jason Terry go Jamaal Franklin? a Kawai Leonard comparison

    14. Jazz- They need a PG with none on the roster for next season. Maybe If Dallas doesn’t pick up Schroder get him at 14. Or here’s a thought; is Shane Larkin a reach at 14? Could Utah get him at 21?

For now I’ll just do the lottery teams but hey that was fun right?

So, what do you think? Good? bad? Thoughts and opinions always appreciated :p
Tj- What about Bradley Beal? He’s a shooting guard too and I would prefer him over Ben Mclemore. Beal has more potential, he’s more athletic, a playmaker, isn’t as selfish, and can drvie to the basket. Mclemore can probably shoot better but I would have Beal any day over Mclmore if I were a Wizards fan

Would These Trades And Acquisitions Help Improve The Oklahoma City Thunder And The Boston Celtics? The season for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics is now over due to the Memphis Grizzlies eliminating the Oklahoma City in the 2013 NBA Western Conference Second Round Playoffs and the New York Knicks eliminating the Boston Celtics in the 2013 NBA Eastern Conference Second Round Playoffs.

Would these trades and acquisitions help improve the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics?

——–Oklahoma City Thunder 2013-14 NBA projected roster———
Centers: Kendrick Perkins, Samuel Dalembert and Eddy Curry. Power Forwards: Kevin Garnett and Nick Collision. Small Forwards: Serge Ibaka, Mickeal Pietrus, and Perry Jones. Shooting Guards: Kevin Durrant, Thabo Selfolosha, and Jason Terry. Point Guards: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson, Derek Fisher, and Allen Iverson.

    Breakdown:
Center Samuel Dalembert (Milwaukee Bucks) will be a free agent for the 2013-14 NBA season, Center Eddy Curry is currently a free agent and the Thunder could use another big body to clog the middle, Small Forward Mikeal Pietrus (Toronto Raptors) will be a free agent for the 2013-14 NBA season, and Guard Allen Iverson is currently a free agent and the Thunder could use another veteran to the roster.

The Thunder could trade Shooting Guard Kevin Martain, Center Hasheem Thabett, and Small Forward Ronnie Brewer, and a 2013 NBA Draft Pick for Forward/Center Kevin Garnett and Shooting Guard Jason Terry (Boston Celtics).

Kevin Durrant can multiple positions w/ the Thunder, so putting him at the 2 would not be a big change.

——–Boston Celtics 2013-14 NBA projected roster———
Centers:Hasheem Thabett, Fab Melo and Chris Wilcox. Power Forwards: Channing Frye, Jared Sullinger, and Shavik Randolph. Small Forwards: Andre Iguodala, Mickeal Beasley, Kenneth Faried, and Ronnie Brewer. Shooting Guards: Kevin Martain, Jeff Green, and Jordan Crawford. Point Guards: Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, and Point Guard form the 2013-14 NBA Draft Pick.

    Breakdown:
The Celtics could acquire Shooting Guard Kevin Martain, Center Hasheem Thabett, and Small Forward Ronnie Brewer, and a 2013 NBA Draft Pick for Forward/Center Kevin Garnett and Shooting Guard Jason Terry (Boston Celtics).

The Celtics could acquire Guard/Forward Andre Iguodala and Small Forward Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets) for Small Forward Paul Pearce. Andre Iguodala is in the last year of his contract at Denver.

The Celtics could acquire Power Forward Channing Frye and Small Forward Micheal Beasley (Phoenix Suns) for Power Forward Brandon Bass and Shooting Guard Courtney Lee.

The Phoenix Suns organization will be in complete rebuilding mode for the 2013-14 NBA. Adding Power Forward Brandon Bass and Shooting Guard Courtney Lee would be a start.

With Paul Pearce going to the Nuggets, it would give the Nuggets a go-to-leader on the court.

So, would these trades and acquisitions help improve the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics for the 2013014 NBA season?

  • NBA Draft 2013: Who Is Who? So, are there any prominent college basketball players that may play in the NBA next season? Who are they? have so seen them playing? what do you think?

    • Curator says:

No i don’t want princess Love on a great team. He will ask for to much money. I say we get rid of Brandon Knight he is overrated and get Victor Oladipo from Indiana in the draft. We need somebody to get the offense clicking again. Who knows maybe Chris paul
