  • Mike says:

Should ESPN Do The Olympic Coverage As Well As NBC? I think it would be more about the sports than about medal counts. I can see it already with the show “First Take”:

Stephen A Smith: Should Apollo Ohno come out of retirement and train for 2018?

Skip Bayless: No, he’s old and overrated!

Stephen A Smith: Overrated? We are talking about the most decorated speed skater in US History!

Skip Bayless: That is BS! What about Eric Heiden?

Stephen A Smith: The training technique back in 1980 would be no match for today. Eric Heiden wouldn’t even qualify for the games.

    (The next day)

Apollo Ohno: Skip, why don’t you compete in the Olympics then we will talk.

In The USA< What Is The Best Way To Get The Most Olympic Coverage On TV ? I love the Olympics and usually they only show the end of the day mostly on the major TV channels. Are there other ways to see more of them ? Thank you

The Winter Games in Sochi are being broadcast in the U.S. by NBC.
Five networks will be used by NBC to show the events.
The parent network, NBC, will have taped coverage with most of it being in prime time and late night.
The remaining four networks – NBC Sports Network, USA, CNBC and MSNBC – will mostly have live coverage starting as early as 3am eastern up until 8pm eastern when NBC takes over.
NBC Live Extra will also be streaming various events live on its website.
