Why Can’t More People With Differing Political Viewpoints Get Along As Well As Did Orrin Hatch And Ted Kennedy? “His family, they’ve given so much to this country. I love Ted Kennedy. I love Vicki Kennedy. And I love that whole family, and I just want everybody to know that they need to be revered. That’s a family that’s given a great deal to this country, and they deserve a lot of credit.”

    — Senator Orrin Hatch (R) Utah

Senator Hatch isn’t a moderate Republican he is very conservative. If he and a very liberal Ted Kennedy could be respectful of one another, why can’t more people in America do the same?

    • Curator says:

When it’s all said and over, some people really do respect eachother behind the debate. They recognize themselves as two human beings fighting for similar outcomes, with different causes or means. Being uncivil just creates hostility.

I agree with you, more people should be like this, myself included. I will try harder from now on.

Can We Get Senators Bob Corker And Orrin Hatch Heavy Duty Leadership Roles? Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, actually wrote to the Appropriations Committee to withdraw his pet spending items. “I had a number of requests in and I voted for the moratorium and I thought in all honesty, I need to withdraw my requests,” said Hatch, “And I did.”

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., withdrew his earmark requests last April after an earlier vote on banning the practice.

There are 100 senators and only these 2 were honest and reputable. Let’s keep them around, maybe some of their character will rub off!

    • Curator says:

Keep them around until they go up for re-election. People in the home districts don’t like it when their Representatives don’t get funding for projects in their districts.

As One Of The Unemployed, Orrin Hatch Has Already Staked His Claim That You Do Drugs. What Do You Say To That? Is he factually right? Do the unemployed spend their Tier V benefits on drugs for themselves and not their families?

  • Anonymous says:

Will The Tea Party Be Coming After Orrin Hatch, Dick Lugar, And Olympia Snowe , For 2012 Elections? Both Dick Lugar and Olympia Snowe voted for DREAM Act last year. Even though Orrin Hatch was a co-sponsor of previous DREAM Act, he did not vote on it, but tea party could be gunning for him.

    • Curator says:

      I don’t think so.

I think they will be too busy co-ordinating with Al Qaida on ways to destroy our country.

I consider them both to be equal in terms of hatred for The United States of America.

They BOTH hate us for our freedoms.
