How Disrespectful Was It For 9/11 “truthers” Such As Charlie Sheen To Be In Memorials/fund Raisers? How poor taste is it for someone who argues that your loved one wasn’t murdered by bin laden and al quaida and instead killed by the govt to be involved in memorials and fund raisers? I wouldn’t want a dime of Charlie Sheen’s cocaine residue covered money

WAKE UP!!!! Don’t take everything you hear as a fact. My problem with the people who shoot down these “conspiracy theories” (aka the truth) is that they don’t even take the time to do a little research before they dismiss them.

There is plenty of information out there that pokes all kinds of holes in the “official” story of 9/11. For starters there have only ever been 3 steel frame buildings to go down due to damage from fire – which by the way is the official reason for the collapse of the twin towers. There are numerous examples of buildings that have burned for hours without collapsing, some of which much older than the towers which were finished in the 60′s. In 1991 the One Meridian Plaza building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania burned for 18 hours and didn’t collapse. The towers on the other hand burned for about an hour tops, before collapsing at free-fall speeds?

I know what you’re thinking. “BUT IT WAS HIT BY A PLANE!!!” Okay… I’ll give you that one (even though the towers were built with plane collisions in mind, 767 included). So now lets talk about the third steel frame building to go down due to fire, WTC 7. I know what some of you are thinking now. “Wait, WTC 7 went down, too?” Yes guys and gals, World Trade Center building 7 also went down on 9/11, hours after the towers had already collapsed. Apparently it was struck by some debris from the north tower which created a fire and thus caused the building to go down.

I know what you’re thinking now. “Well if the twin towers could go down because of fire then why couldn’t WTC 7?” Hmmm… well how about because the burning temperature of jet fuel is only 260-315 degrees Celsius. Do you know what the melting point of steel is? It’s 1370 degrees Celsius. You don’t find that a little odd?

But what is really odd about WTC 7 is the way it went down. It looked just like a building being brought down in a controlled demolition. As a matter of fact it looks EXACTLY like a controlled demolition. You show me someone who says otherwise, and I’ll show you a liar (or a blind man). Don’t believe me, then check it out for yourself.

To learn more about the truth you should watch a documentary called Loose Change 9/11. You can check this out on Netflix right now. Or you can search for it on youtube. Never take things at face value and always ask questions. WAKE UP!!!

How Was The Democratic Party Formed? I heard that in 1800 Thomas Jefferson and James Madison made a trip to the Hudson river on a botanical mission searching for butterflies and went to NY where they formed the Democratic party

    Is this true?

Is the democratic party the oldest political party in the world?

    • Curator says:

The modern Democratic Party was formed in the 1830s from former factions of the Democratic-Republican Party, which had largely collapsed by 1824. It was built by Martin Van Buren who rallied a cadre of politicians in every state behind war hero Andrew Jackson of Tennessee.

Thomas Jefferson created his own party in 1792 in Philadelphia with James Madison. So whoever told you that it was founded in New York in 1800 didn’t know the truth.

And the oldest party in the world is the Democratic – Republican Party (the one founded by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson.)

NFL = The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t won a title in a very, very long time, won a few NFC Championship Games and have a great young receiving corp with young De Shawn Jackson, Jeremy Macklin however I am not quite as sold on Michael Vick as the general public. Andy Ried has been a great coach, have a lot of respect for him but he has to be one of the worst coaches when calling for instant replay, many times he objects when he should not and viceversa, Kevin Kolb reduced to back-up after Vick started playing well, never quite lived up to the potential he seemed to have at Houston. I think they have a good base to work with but need to get some luck with a few position changes and players.

NBA = The 76ers haven’t seen the promised land since the days of Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins and Dr. J. They will make the playoffs this year after a very bad start to the season, and coach Doug Collins deserves much credit, he’s very loose and the team is one of the youngest in the NBA. Right now they are the type of team with no big hot shot or superstar, they made the playoffs by gelling, pure team effort. Evan Turner the second overall pick in the NBA from Ohio State hasn’t gotten too much time or lived up to his second over all draft pick billing, but he hasn’t played horrible either. They most likely will build upon the young base and if they obtain at least one elite player that should help them go further next year.

NHL = The Flyer’s year in and year out put many great skaters on the ice but almost always seem to have mediocre goal-tending since the days of Bernie Parent and Ron Hextall. A couple years ago they actually had six skaters who were all stars but only fair goaltenders. They have some young Europeans this year who have been doing ok. They of course lost in the Stanley Cup to the Blackhawks last year. They had a bit of a slump right near the very end of regulation, this may actually be a good thing to get out of them going into the playoffs as the #2 seed, a bit biased of course but predict a Canucks verses Flyer’s Stanley Cup this year.
