  • What Are Some Athlete Names That Sound Like Boos When You Cheer For Them? I’m watching the Presidents Cup (golf) and every time Matt Kuchar takes a swing, the gallery goes “KUUUUUUUUUUUU”. And it sounds like “BOOOOOO”. Like they’re booing him.

I’m also aware of baseball player Kevin Youkilis (“YOOOOOOUUUUUUUK”).

Anyone know any more? Current/past, dead/alive.

What Should I Wear To The President’s Cup? My boyfriend and I are going to watch the President’s Cup today in Dublin. I’ve never been to a golf tournament before and I’m not sure what to wear? Is it like a jeans and a blouse event? Or what? Help!

Presidents Cup 2013 (Dublin, OH): Which Team Will SCORE MORE POINTS In The Thursday Four-ball Matches? Team International, or Team USA, or Tie?

Yes. ‘Juche’ was introduced into North Korea by President Kim Il-Sung in 1955. It is the official state doctrine of North Korea. It preaches absolute loyalty to the Supreme Leader and has around 19 million followers.

This could be viewed as merely political dictatorship at work, in an attempt to maintain only the one political party in power, except for some serious points that Christians need to be aware of.

Any person in North Korea found worshipping differently to the state religion is severely punished. They are branded as political prisoners and taken to concentration camps, and their entire family is also punished. A North Korean lady came to our church to tell us her harrowing story of being taken to a concentration camp as a political prisoner. She had no religious beliefs at that time, but was considered to be politically incorrect. In the camp she suffered water-boarding and other tortures and great deprivations. But she soon noticed that another group of prisoners were treated far worse – they were the Christians. They were forbidden to look up. They had to walk with their heads bowed down all the time. They were made to work in the smelting factories, wearing only a leather apron, their bodies burned and scarred. They were given one cup of water, with salt in it, while working. You would not believe the horrors going on there, and Christians were the ones suffering most.

The North Korean politicians are actively trying to stamp out other religions, especially Christianity, so this goes beyond a mere philosophy. A philosophy might be encouraged and promoted by a government, or a religious body, but when they treat other religions as a threat to themselves, they are actively fighting against religious ideas and practices that their religion hates. Clearly, they view religion as real threat and something that has to be suppressed, so the government has introduced their own form of ‘worship’ in order to stamp out religious belief.

The adoration of most of the North Koreans (who are filmed at public events) seems to be genuine enough. Nobody is pointing a gun at them, forcing them to weep and adore the Great Leader. Of course, they might know that if they don’t display appropriately in public, there will be repercussions later, and mass hysteria may be gripping them, as with teenagers seeing a pop group appear. Yet if hysteria at a pop group constitutes idol worship (of pop idols in the flesh), then hysteria in North Korea constitutes idol worship of the Great Leader appearing.

Is There A Way I Can Bypass Websense On My IPhone? So the presidents cup is on thursday, and I want to watch it. I have the NBC Live Extra app, but the websense filters on the school network blocks it. Is there any way I can bypass this filter so I can watch the Presidents Cup? By the way I am using my iPhone 5 running iOS 7.2
