How Should The Major Six Conferences Be Ranked? 1.) SEC – so far, so good. If you don’t like them, stop whining and beat them where it really matters, the BCS Championship Game.

2.) PAC-12 – When all is said and done, they may indeed be the best of all, but as 9-21-2013, I’m still going to say the SEC holds the stop spot. From top to bottom, they probably are the strongest in the country. They’re certainly the coolest.

3.) ACC – Looking good this year, Clemson may be a contender, Florida State is strong and Miami is improving.

4.) Big Ten – boring as all get out as usual, but Ohio State has a shot of playing for the BCS – wherein Oregon or Alabama will beat them like a redheaded stepchild.

    5.) Big 12 – yawn.

    6.) AAC – LOL.

      1. SEC-No real explanation needed.

      2. ACC- This is really close for me with the PAC 12. FSU, Clemson Both top 10 and serious threats to win the National title with Miami top 15. GT and some other ACC teams are just outside the top 25. By having a couple wins over the SEC I think they have a couple quality wins that the PAC 12 doesn’t and that’s the main reason I rank them 2nd and not 3rd.

3.PAC 12-They are top heavy with Oregon and Stanford and even UCLA, but I think the ACC as a whole is a little deeper.

This is where it really gets tough.

      4. Big 12-This conference has some good teams in it as Oklahoma St, Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech are all top 25 teams.

      5. AAC- Louisville is highly ranked and I think they would beat Ohio St if given the chance to play them. Rutgers picked up a nice win today over Arkansas from the SEC. Cincinnati started the season by beating a Big 10 team being Purdue. Central Florida destroyed Penn St at Penn St.

      6. Big 10- It’s the third quarter and Michigan is currently losing to UConn which is an AAC team by the score of 21-14. Unless the second best team in the Big 10 can make a come back then no reason to rank the Big 10 higher than the AAC.
Edit post game. Congrats to Michigan as they came back to win, but I still rank the Big 10 in this spot. It’s name recognition on which people rank the Big 10 higher, but nothing else. I still think Louisville would beat Ohio St and I think Central Florida could beat Michigan.

What Is Your Prediction For The 2013 FBS College Football Season? I just want to get peoples opinions so what do you expect to happen in the upcoming season?

    • Curator says:

Ohio State will cruise through the Big Ten because of the lack of competition in the league and they’ll get spanked in the BCS title game.. If Alabama can get by Texas A&M and LSU during the regular season, they’ll be in the SEC championship game and whoever wins that game will play Ohio State for the BCS title……

  • I Thought SEC Schools Weren’t Scared. Why Did Texas A&M Back Out Of A Series Against USC? Texas A&M and USC were set to schedule games against each other for the ’15-’16 seasons.

USC wanted the match-ups, but the deal came to a standstill and eventually folded because TAMU didn’t sign the contract.

The Aggies have instead chosen to play UL-Monroe.

    http://www.fbschedules.com/2013/05/texas-am-ulm-2014-usc-series-2015-16-never-finalized/

I thought SEC schools weren’t afraid to play anybody.
People, myself included, wouldn’t give SEC schools such a hard time if they manned up and started accepting invitations to play the top schools from other conferences. If memory serves, several SEC schools turned down a series against Oregon, Ohio State, etc.

    • Curator says:

A select few are not, but I’ll use SEC fan logic and say because 1 school backs out of a big time game, the entire conference must be scared, much like how 1 school wins the championship, therefore the entire coference must be great.

But in all seriousness, only a select few schools within the SEC actually play teams that you can find on a map more often than not (Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Vanderbilt), but the rest of the conference outside of a big name rival they play every year that is located in the ACC, they don’t play anyone as a general rule of thumb.

  • Keelan says:

Will Auburn Ever Win Another National Championship Or Sec Championship? Im a auburn fan and I hope we’ve finally found our guy in Gus, but I believe its going to be a slow struggling return to championship caliber again judging by the comments from Ellis Johnson our D is going to suck for 4-5 years at best, and it looks like 2013 will be another long season for us unless Nick Marshall or Jeremy Johnson win the qb battle.

if all cards fall in place i could see another championship run by 2016 at the earliest, but its going to be a bumpy road till then

    WDE

    • Curator says:

Well im an auburn fan and i’ll be honest

I think we could be back in National Championship contention in 2-3 years minimum if gus gets a good qb, and coach Ellis Johnson gets our D back
