Do I Have A Legitamite Dental Malpractice Lawsuit? About 4 months ago I went to a dentist to get some teeth pulled out. I have really bad teeth, but not because I don’t brush or anything, but because I grind my teeth really bad and over time, the top teeth would crack and brake off piece by piece. I had a job that paid minimum wage and offered no insurance so I couldn’t afford a dentist. After getting a good job with better money and insurance, I went to a dentist. The plan was to get a few teeth at a time pulled and get a top denture plate put in. My bottom teeth are in decent shape so its just the top. The day of the extractions, I was planning to just get 2 teeth on the top right side pulled. The dentist told me that I should get a 3rd tooth pulled that was right next to the 2 getting pulled so I figured what the hell, why not? After giving me the gas, he got to work on pulling my teeth. After pulling 3 teeth, I could see that he had a worried and puzzled look on his face. He then told me that when he pulled the middle tooth a Chuck of my jaw bone came out with it leaving my sinus membrane exposed. He then sent me to an orthsurgeon to evaluate the issue. The surgeon took a 3D scan and said I should be OK and just to be careful how I sneeze and not to raise my voice or anything that could rupture the membrane. I followed the doctor’s orders and it seemed to heal up. I had a wisdom tooth on the same side that was already erupted and even though my gums healed, I was still getting pain from where the piece of jaw bone came out so I thought it was from the wisdom tooth. I moved about this time and started going to my brother’s dentist. After examining my teeth, the new dentist took xrays and then came back in about ten minutes and asked me how long ago I had those teeth pulled and I told him about a few months ago. He then said yeah, I was going to say it hadn’t been too long ago. I then asked if he saw where my jaw bone was missing a chunk out of it and he said yes in a very shocked expression. I then asked if that other dentist had tortured me and again he replied yes. So about 3 weeks had gone by and I couldn’t take the pain anymore and I went in to get that wisdom tooth pulled out thinking it is what was causing my pain. After it was removed and healed up, I felt better, but my left side of my jaw bone feels like it moves forward a little and a little bit of the corner where that Chuck came out feels like its trying to poke through my hums and little pieces of bone have come out. And after a week or 2 of dealing with that pain, its like the jaw bone moves back to where my gums feel normal and the pain goes away for the most part. But it continues to happen over and over again every few weeks. So I am starting to wonder if the first dentist made a bad mistake. Extra info would be that when I got the 3 teeth pulled I signed only 2 papers. 1 saying I give permission to get the gas and the 2nd saying I am allowing 3 teeth to get pulled, not just the 2. Any advice would also be appreciated. Thank you.

How Can I Forward My Google Voice To My Phone But Keep Its Voicemail? I used to have people call my Google voice number and the voicemails would be available like any others on my phone, but that doesn’t happen anymore; they’re just transcribed (usually inaccurately) and texted to me, or I could dial in and enter my pin number. Can I just forward only the call itself to my phone, so it would automatically send them to my iPhone’s voicemail?

Do You Think Toning Sounds Can Heal Health Problems? “In The Mozart Effect, Don Campbell, founder of the Institute of Music, Health, and Education, lists the benefits of using your voice to enhance mood and memory. He says that all forms of vocalization, including singing, chanting, yodeling, humming, reciting poetry, and simply talk can be therapeutic. “Nothing rivals toning,” he concludes. The word toning goes back to the fourteenth century and means to make sounds with elongated vowels for extended periods of time. Ah, ou (as in soup), ee, ay, oh, and om are examples of toning sounds.

Campbell writes that when people tone on a regular basis for five minutes a day, “I have witnessed thousands of people relax into their voices, become more centered in their bodies, release fear and other emotions, and free themselves from physical pain… I have seen many people apply toning in practical ways, from relaxing before a dreaded test to eliminating symptoms of tinnitus or migraine headaches… Toning has been effective in relieving insomnia
and other sleep disorders… Toning balances brain waves, deepens the breath, reduces the heart rate, and imparts a general sense of well-being.”

Campbell reports that in his experience certain sounds tend to have certain effects on the body and emotions:

Ahhh – immediately evokes a relaxation response
Ee or ay – is the most stimulating of vowel sounds, helps with concentration, releasing pain and anger
Oh or om – considered the richest of sounds; can warm skin temperature and relax muscle tension. ”

” Brainwave Entrainment is the brain’s electrical response to rhythmic sensory stimulation, such as pulses of sound or light. When the brain is given a stimulus, through the ears, eyes or other senses, it emits an electrical charge in response, called a Cortical Evoked Response. These electrical responses travel throughout the brain to become what you “see and hear”.

When the brain is presented with a rhythmic stimulus, such as a drum beat, the rhythm is reproduced in the brain in the form of these electrical impulses. If the rhythm becomes fast and consistent enough, it can start to resemble the natural internal rhythms of the brain, called brainwaves, and the brain responds by synchronizing its own electric cycles to the same rhythm. This is called the Frequency Following Response or FFR.

FFR can be useful because brainwaves are very much related to mental state. For example, a 4 Hz brainwave is associated with sleep, so a 4 Hz sound pattern would help reproduce the sleep state in your brain. The same concept can be applied to many other mental states, including concentration, creativity and meditation. ”

How Is It Possible To Look At Things Pleasantly When You Have A Very Difficult Life? Is That What Faith Is? Quoting:

” It was the marriage of one of their daughters of the lady of the house. “Do you see yourself at the wedding?” I asked. She answered quickly, in a loud whisper, “We’re not at the wedding. We can only watch the people coming and going. The servants are not allowed.”
    “What are you feeling?”
    “Hatred.”
“Why? Do they treat you poorly?”
“Because we are poor,” she answered softly, “and we’re bonded to them. And we have so little compared to what they have.”
“Do you ever get to leave the estate? Or do you live out your life there?”
She answered wistfully. “I live out my life there.” I could feel her sadness. Her life was both difficult and hopeless. I progressed her to the day of her death.
“I see a house. I’m lying in bed, lying on the bed. They’re giving me something to drink, something warm. My chest is very heavy. It’s difficult to breathe. . . . I have pain in my chest and my back…” She was breathing rapidly in great pain. After a few minutes of agony her face softened and her body relaxed. “I have left my body.” Her voice was louder. “I see a wonderful light. . . . There are people coming to me. They are coming to help me…. I feel very light.. . .” There was a long pause.

“Do you have any thoughts about the lifetime you just left?”

“I had no faith in that lifetime.” She was calmly evaluating her eighteenth century life. I asked her what she had learned in that lifetime. “I learned about anger and resentment, about harboring your feelings toward people. I also had to learn that I have no control over my life. I want control, but I don’t have any. I must have faith in the Masters. They will guide me throughout. But I did not have the faith. I felt like I was doomed from the beginning. I NEVER LOOKED AT THINGS VERY PLEASANTLY. We must have faith … we must have faith. And I doubt. I choose to doubt instead of believe.”

Many Lives Many Masters – Dr Brian Weiss
A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss M.D. is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.

How is it possible to look at things pleasantly when you have a very difficult life? Does “faith” mean looking at things pleasantly?

Will This Relationship Work Out? I met this guy through a mutual friend a little while ago and we really hit it off. We text and Facebook message and FaceTime and exchange voice messages and pictures and I like him a lot. We message from like 4-8 on week days and all day on weekends. The thing is, I’ve never actually MET him. He goes to a different school in my district and there’s not a lot of ways we can see each other because neither of us think our parents will approve, and I want to wait a little anyways. I might be able to see him in February for this district wide competition we’re both in. Our schools will merge together into one the year after next but until then what are ways we can try and see each other? How do I make it work?
