Traditionally high school football games are held on Friday, college on Saturday, and professional on Sunday. This allows people who really care about football to see more than one game a week.

Football is really physically punishing, so teams don’t have dozens of games a year like baseball teams. If you only have 15 games a year, you have them one a week, which allows teams to recover between games, and also it lengthens the season. Nobody wants the football season to be over in 2 weeks. 8^P

Who’s Going To Win The Superbowl In 2014? First, who is getting there? For the NFC, it seems obvious. Seattle. Although the 49ers with Crabtree back and the Saints having experienced the crowd noise could upset them, I don’t think anyone will beat them at home. For the AFC, New England is pretty much done without Gronk, the Chiefs D isn’t as dominant as we thought, and the Broncos can be stop. Who do you think makes it, and who wins? This is being asked after Thursday Night Football in week 15. A playoff bracket would be nice

Guy Needs To Clear Things With Ex Before He Can Start Dating Again? I’m a little bit confused, I went on a date with a guy two weeks ago and we got on very well, and we arranged to see each other yesterday and were texting all the time. Suddenly he text me this yesterday, “Morning babe, I’m ok how are you? I am so so so so sorry but im not gonna be able to make the cinema on Thursday 🙁 and tbh I’m not sure im going to be able to go on any dates for a while. Things are still a bit dodgey with the girl I was last seeing and I need to clear the air a bit. It’s nothing to do with you, you’re a really nice girl. A few things I’ve got to sort out. Sorry for the essay but I thought you deserved an explanation. I’d still like to get to know you but just not a good idea to date atm. Sorry babe, hope you understand” followed by this “Thank you 🙂 I wanted to tell you rather than just stop talking to you. Was supposed to last night but was busy with football. You don’t deserve to be treated like that I’ve been an idiot. I’ll try and sort all this out!” I thought everything was going so well I’m really confused by it should we still talk

    • Curator says:

Tell him you think he’s right: it’s not a good idea for you two to be dating if there’s still stuff he needs to sort out with his previous girlfriend. That said, you’d rather he get it all sorted out before you get to know him better, since you’re not willing to take the risk of falling for him only to learn he’s not ready to move on after all. So he should give you a call when she’s truly in the past, and if you’re still free and interested at that point, the two of you can see where things go.
