BASKETBALL: Derrick Rose IS The Next Tracy Mcgrady? I’m sad to admit this I belive D rose will have a similar career to Tracy Mcgrady in terms of health. T-Mac was one of my favorite players back then but after a couple seasons in the NBA his body starting to more and more injury prone.

I see D rose following a similar pattern since he ‘s had these injuries building up to his torn ACL.

I believe Rose will have a sub par year next year, athelectism will decline, and he just won’t be physically able to perform at this level again. Same as Iman Shumpert his defense will take a huge toll when he comes back.

Derick Rose is the next Tracy McGrady.
Just because you were MVP one season won’t mean you have a an injury ever again. Plus I was comparing them HEALTH WISE.

Don’t disrespect T- Mac too. He was considered a top 3 NBA player before the injuries.
D Rose isn’t even top 5 YET. But this injury will take a big toll on him. Won’t be able to perform at the SAME level.

    Does D Rose have these?

    2× NBA Scoring Champion: 2003 , 2004
    7× NBA All-Star: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
    7× All-NBA:
    First Team: 2002, 2003
    Second Team: 2001, 2004, 2007
    Third Team: 2005, 2008
NBA Most Improved Player Award: 2001

Who Will Replace Derek Rose On The USA Olympic Team After Tearing His ACL? CP3 is definately going to be the starting point guard, but who will back him up? John Wall? Steph Curry (3point specialist)? Deron Williams? Rajon Rondo?
BQ: If Dwight Howard misses the Olympics too, who will replace him? I’m thinking Andrew Bynum.

What Happens If You Do Not Get Treated For Torn Acl? A couple years ago during a soccer game, I heard a crack in my knee without being touched. Ever since then, it has been happening often but not as painful. Is this a torn ACL? If not then what is it?
