  • How Will The Veronica Mars Movie Be Available In The UK On March 14th? Sadly I was not a backer for the VM kickstarter and so can not access all of Rob Thomas’ updates (some are private for backers only), so can anyone tell me how the film will be available online in the UK? I don’t live near a cinema showing it and would love to see it on Friday with everyone else. Amazon instant? iTunes? It is available for preorder through american amazon &iTunes but not the UK? Does anyone know?

What Episodes Of Veronica Mars Do I Need To Watch Before The Movie? I’ve seen a few episodes of Veronica Mars before and I liked it, but for some reason I never watched it through properly. The movie looks amazing and I’ve been asked to go see it opening weekend which I will. So I was just wondering what episodes of the show are essential viewing? I won’t be able to watch every episode in time, so what do I NEED to watch to understand everything important?

    • Curator says:

We can’t really answer that since nobody has seen the movie yet, so we don’t know what’s important. I’d say watch season 1. It establishes most of the major characters.

Why Is The Veronica Mars Movie Only Airing In Select Theaters? Why aren’t they airing it everywhere in the US? It’s almost like they want the movie to do poorly. If the movie doesn’t do well in theaters it’s going to be the studio’s fault for only airing it in a few theaters, but they’ll think there isn’t an audience for it, there will never be a sequel, and this will be the last we see of Veronica Mars (excluding the upcoming novels and web-series). I’m hoping for the franchise to be similar to Star Trek, where the series was cancelled but it continued in movies. That won’t happen if enough people don’t go see the film so the movie needs to be available in more theaters. There’s probably a lot of people like me who want to see the movie but don’t live near a theater that’s airing it.

How Do I Become A PI? Or A Detective? Okay so I’ve recently been watching this tv show Veronica Mars and i am in love with it! I want to become a investigator like her, what she does is she gets picture and evidence and the dirt on people and basically solves little “mysteries”. I told my mom how I’m interested in becoming this and she said she thinks i would like being a investigative reporting better. I looked into that and I’m not sure about it, what i really want to do is take the photos and i guess you could say “stalk people” like follow them around see where they are going, solve the crimes, go under cover and get into all the action! I know that the jobs aren’t what they’re like in the movies but i still want to go into this field of work. I guess my question is which job would fit the category of what i want to do best? Private investigator? Detective? Spy? Investigative reporting? And my final question, which electives should i take in high school that would be good for these jobs? Journalism? Yearbook?
I know its not going to be all glamours and cool like the movies and its completely different BUT its still a field I’m interested in and that I want to know more about. I know that private investigators do not stalk people I just cant find the right word to use for what i was trying to describe. I have done some research into it and I didn’t find anything that answered my question so i decided to ask my own not to get a speech of how I’m all caught up in the movies, skipper……

(P.S)-their is nothing wrong with have a little insperation from a tv show? Its not like im sighning a contract to a job. I can change my opinion on it anytime I want.
    *inspiration

    • Curator says:

Not something you want to get into just because you saw a show about it and it looks cool. TV and real life are two whole different things.

P.I.’s can not officially “stalk” someone, nor can the media. Unfortunately skipper a “spy” is not a real job title. There’s a police detective? but that’s going to require a lot of time, good behavior, education, and work experience.

You might wanna do a bit more in depth of research (not including tv shows) before deciding what you want to do.

Will The Veronica Mars Movie Eventually Air In Every Theater? I am extremely hyped to see the new Veronica Mars movie but it’s only opening in AMC theaters. I don’t live near any AMC theater but I want to go see the movie and spend my money to help the movie earn enough to make a sequel. Will the movie eventually air in other theaters or am I going to have to wait for the Blu-Ray to see it?

10 Points To The Best Answer! Suggestions For Movies That Will Have Me Sobbing..? Yes, I just finished watching the last episode of Dawson’s Creek and it had me sobbing. I’m really in the mood for something sad but amazing. A bittersweet ending. BUT, it MUST be truly sob-inducing.

    I’ve already seen the cliches:
    A Walk To Remember
    P.S. I Love You**
    The Notebook
    Remember Me
    Shawshank Redemption**
    Keith
    Titanic
    I Am Sam**
    Stepmom**
then, some of the cheesy Nicholas Sparks things.. Most, if not all, had me crying. Only some had me sobbing.

(Anything with an ** means that if you haven’t seen it, then you haven’t lived until you do! TRUST ME! BEST movies EVER MADE. truly phenomenal)

    I’m looking for something else.
Something that isn’t named above, but something that will have the same effect.

    Please and Thank You. 🙂

I would highly recommend Veronica Mars (if you like dawson’s creek you might like vmars. guy who created vmars wrote a couple of creek episodes)

      the grave of the fireflies
      sin nombre
      warrior (tom hardy)

those are movies that always make me cry.
