My Sounds Works On The Web, But Not In Programs.? I just upgraded to windows 8.1 and previously everything worked and now..not so much. Most notably, my sound is messed up. It will play on sites like youtube or any site I presume and if I get error sounds, those will work, but when I play it through an app or program like zune, media player, or xbox music, nothing. It says “Can’t play. Make sure your computer’s sound and video cards are working and have the latest drivers, then try again.”
Windows 8.1 Update Not Visible In Windows Store? Hello.
I want to update to Windows 8.1. I’m currently running Windows 8 Pro. I have all latest updates installed (including the KB 2871389 required update). But the Windows 8.1 update isn’t available in Windows Store. What can I do? Are there any external links for Windows 8.1 download?
@Helen, I’ve already set the correct language, time and region. And my copy of windows 8 pro is not activated with a volume license.
@Mr. T, I have everything set, Microsoft account synced, Windows activated and Store working fine, able to download other apps.
